Today, Hardwell, who was recently named the #6 DJ in the world by DJ Mag Top 100, announced that the winner of his Spaceman competition is our very own Collin McLoughlin. In addition to being featured on his EZoo recap video, Hardwell released the song yesterday on iTunes as the official unplugged version of Spaceman.

Albums, Electro, Pop, RnB | Quincy Kwalae & J.T. Roach – Qollab [Free EP]
Posted by Grubeats on October 1, 2012
Often times artists will blend genres and fail miserably. The spike in the popularity of EDM has left hip-hop, pop, and r&b artists with the daunting question of “how to incorporate these new sounds into their music”. Midwest natives, Quincy Kwalae (producer) & J.T. Roach (vocals) crossed paths after graduating college and instantly felt chemistry in their music. While J.T’s background runs deep as an acoustic artist with roots in R&B & Soul, Quincy’s production is native to both hip-hop and EDM instruments. Their debut Qollab EP, Piñata After Party encompasses an infusion the duo’s sounds, creating a compelling new genre of their own.
“The whole project sounds like a wild blend of Trey Songz, Skrillex, The Weeknd & Xaphoon Jones…yet, sounds like none of them at all. Maybe we made a new genre….R&BEDM?” – Q
Although this is just the beginning for these two aspiring artists, they have both been at it for quite some time, which is evident in their music. Although it’s only four new tracks, you’ll hear something new in each one. Slap on some pine tar and take a swing at this musical Piñata, you won’t be disappointed with what you find inside.

Dubstep | Dear Reader – Great White Bear (SizzleBird Remix)
Posted by Mach on September 27, 2012
I have been following SizzleBird for sometime and time and time again I have posted some Drum & Bass of his, but today I bring you an incredibly emotional Melodic Dubstep remix. The original is a very deep acoustic track, depicting the story of a sad man who falls in love with a woman he wasn’t supposed to. Being familiar with the original and it’s music video, SizzleBird did an absolutely amazing job remixing this track. He kept a lot of samples from the original and created an amazingly smooth drop leaving the bass to only empower not overpower the vocals, as most producers seem to make the mistake of doing when creating a track like this.
House | John de Sohn Ft. Andreas Moe – Long Time (The Two Friends Remix)
Posted by Mach on August 14, 2012
The Two Friends, Matt and Eli thought this was an amazing, underrated orignal from John de Sohn. I took a chance in listening to the original and I can see why they wanted to remix this so badly. The vocals set a truly incredible mood not just by the content but the emotion expressed by tone. A remix of the track would have to properly reflect that again, and The Two Friends did just that. The two stated that they did not just want to do a normal House remix and branched out by incorporating an acoustic guitar with a less than usual arrangement. The final outcome is one of the best House remixes you will hear this Summer.
Drum & Bass | PsychoFreud – Still Moving
Posted by Mach on June 11, 2012
Technically this is actually Jungle, but considering they are relative genres, Drum & Bass was well suited to label this track under. PsychoFreud just gave us a Freudian slip. The fast paced drums and kicks with that latin acoustic sound, teamed up with Reggae blended with old 50s Rat-pack vocal swag. This track and my ears were a match made in Heaven.
