Incredible remix from Phazz. I don’t know how he did it, but he managed to make Twista sound close to Biggie Smalls. This is a bedroom jam, If you plan on getting lucky on this wonderful Friday night, I highly recommend adding this to your arsenal of seduction tunes.

I love this song, ever since it came out a few months ago it has been listened to almost every day and it is not even close to getting old for me. Hopscotch released the official music video today and knowing the track as I do, I had high expectations. Those expectations were met then passed, never ceasing to make you feel the incredible emotion that this song is. The video itself is hot, steamy black and white with a little bit of witchcraft. If you haven’t downloaded this song yet, I highly recommend it.

Damn, Masq has been releasing straight fire. After his incredible bootleg of Amon Tobin’s “Lost and Found”, I was extremely excited when I saw this was a bootleg of the legendary, Spor (aka Feed Me). I thought maybe this would have been more Neuro-hop considering his last few releases but I am happy to see he kept a Spor classic in good old Drum & Bass. Masq is just getting started, don’t miss out on his explosion into the music world.

Events, Featured | Sean Lives On Ft. Kapslap, Aylen, & Nammo

Sean Lives On was founded by Zach Kardisch in 2012 in memory of his late friend, Sean Riley. Sean passed away in high-school from a rare form of cancer, but while being treated by the excellent staff, was forever grateful to Winthrop Children’s Hospital. Because of that, donating to Winthrop was a no-brainer for Zach. The inaugural event, held in 2012, was able to raise over $10,000. During the year, he was able to partner up with Limitless Entertainment, and this year plans on raising $20,000 to donate.
Headlining this great event is recent Lehigh University graduate, Kap-Slap, with support from Aylen and Nammo, who is a cancer survivor himself. Sean Lives On is a non-profit event, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Winthrop Children’s Hospital. The event is taking place at Warehouse5, in Island Park, Long Island, NY. The event is 16+, and will be held on Thursday, May 23rd.
House, Review | Stars Above – Higher Than The Sky EP

Stars Above is always serenading me with his touch of Trance on his House tracks. it has been well over 18 months since Stars Above was able to release an original production, but he is now here with two epic tracks. Every time I hear a new tune from Stars Above I imagine myself under a massive tent, then I turn up my volume and get lost in the music. His title track, “Higher Than The Sky” makes me want to throw my arms in the air that high. The second drop breaks into an awesome dance vibe, something to make any big room just lose it. “Daybreak” wakes me up, seriously, it has been my alarm for a few days now and I love it. It is the perfect progression for lightening my mood from “I can’t believe I actually have to get out of bed this morning”. Out of the two, “Daybreak” is definitely my favorite, I am just a sucker for piano and Stars Above delivered.

Skit is at it again. This is an incredibly euphoric remix, I wasn’t expecting it to be so much more calmer and uplifting than his last few remixes. The vocals breaking in at the second half of the track was a great touch, loving all the Hip-Hop type music coming from Skit. Seems he has found a good place in music.
Dubstep | Lana Del Rey – Young and Beautiful (Fracture Design Remix)

I hate to be that guy to post yet another Lana Del Rey/Gatsby remix, but if you listen you will understand why I had to post this. Fracture Design has some the most beautiful progression on this Dubstep remix. Sev and I agree that Dubstep is sort of at a stand still right now, not many producers are making anything to fall in love with. On the other hand, I did fall in love with this. Enjoy.
