Reggae, Trap | Lorde – Royals (Reef’d Remix)
Posted by Mach on October 25, 2013
The Reggae/Rock group, Reef’d, have put themselves in a new light with this beautiful cover of Lorde’s “Royals”. Blending in a little bit of Trap and Soul to the mix, the group showed myself at least that they are prepared for a whole new level Reggae that anyone can soak their ears into. This cover can bring a smile to your face even on the worst of days, I would know, it’s helped me feel good as well. Keep an eye out for great tracks from Reef’d in the future, seems everyone is working on good new beginnings.

It’s just a feel good morning for some reason, but hey, it happens. Woke up on the right side of the bed feeling fantastic. And, this just happened to be the first thing on my feed – I LOVE IT to say the least. Funky vibes for everyone on this beautiful Tuesday morning.
Alternative, Indie | Generationals – Put a Light On It

I’m not one to jump to Alternative / Indie right off the bat but after my boyfriend turned me onto the Generationals, I simply could notttt get enough. Definitely a band for the masses with feel good sounds and exceptional lyrics; wouldn’t be surprised if I start hearing them on the radio soon. Enjoy one of my favorites from their most recent endeavor ‘Heza’.

Hits on hits on hits. After their first notable, Billboard single, “I Choose U”, Timeflies deliver the second official release a week before their Warning Signs EP hits digital shelves. Laced with radio ready rhymes and a electro-pop production, this song may very well be making a run at Billboard’s top 40. Cal has always proven he can sing, but he really embraces his rnb/pop sound on this track and delivers one feel good sing-along for the fans. Warning Signs EP, 10/14.

Progressive House | Twenty One Pilots – Guns For Hands (Dzeko & Torres Remix)
Posted by J-Tiffy on September 10, 2013
Dzeko & Torres were right on the money with this track. I love the vocals from the original song, and this remix really uses them in an awesome way. The vocals and melody were ripped out of the original, and then pumped full of enough energy and feel-good vibes to make you groove, even in the worst of moods. The main synth line is so well engineered, and when it sneaks in it gets right under your skin and doesn’t give you the option to not feel this tune. It’s a festival sized progressive house track with a righteous heart. This track moves me, and I know it will make you move. Do not sleep on the Maarcos remix included in the package as well. His track “Blaze” got heavy support this summer and this remix only continues his streak of great productions.

Ambient, Chill, RnB | Atlantic Connection – Astronomy EP
Posted by J-Tiffy on August 22, 2013
Atlantic Connection has put together an EP of great songs of is and has released it as a free download. The EP contains 5 songs that range from chill R&B/Hip-Hop beats, to extremely chill ambient jams. His music is soulful and puts out all around feel good vibes. The project showcases his production strength and range, as well as being an entertaining listen. Fans of Grimblee, MiMoSA or the like should eat this up, but I highly recommend that regardless of your musical taste you at least give the 10 minute sampler of the EP (below) a listen.
