Yesterday we introduced you to Swedish sensation Seinabo Sey and her amazing record “Younger,” and today we present to you the remix by the Norway prodigy Kygo in celebration of 50,000 Likes on Facebook. Don’t let the cover art for you, if this track was a woman, it’d the woman in the cover, gorgeous, sexy, and playful. If more music sounded like this, maybe we’d have peace on Earth. Now excuse me while I get lost to this tune, and you should too. The record is up on the Hypem chart so give it a heart here and get that free download! This is a must listen and a must download!

Events, Home, Review, Videos | Aokify America: Steve Aoki x Borgore x Waka Flocka Flame (Recap)
Posted by FilthyTaft on November 21, 2013
The title says it all – Dim Mak hooked FNT up with passes so that we could cover the show. Steve Aoki, Borgore, and Waka Flocka made a dream team on Saturday night at the Bill Graham Civic Center in San Francisco, and they put on one hell of a show. Check out the media gallery below (especially the POV recap video), and make sure to check out the rest of the tour’s stops before you miss it altogether here.
To give you a better picture of what the concert was like, keep in mind that the show was somehow sold out (it was at the Civic Center in San Francisco, imagine how many people it takes to sell out a concert there). Borgore had an incredible opening set, playing his classics as you’d expect (e.g. Nympho). But, he surprised everyone towards the end of his set when he started dropping some unheard trap and moombahton – some HEAVY trap and moombahton I might add. By this point, everyone was completely riled up – but it doesn’t stop there because just when it seemed like a peak, Borgore brought out Waka Flocka who yelled an entire verse to a wild audience.
But hold up – Steve Aoki starts his set at this point. Mind-blowing is an understatement. Between his stage dives, cake throws, bottle pops, and raft rides, Steve Aoki slapped his bangers so hard that his dad’s restaurants almost went out of business (his dad owns Benihana’s). He played every song that you would wish he would play live. And he killed all of them.
Moral of the story is, if you didn’t go, you missed out. Put Aoki on the bucket list.
Chill, Trap | Bronze Whale – Drive
Posted by BP on November 13, 2013
Of course, when a fire new Bronze Whale track comes out I have to cover it. “Drive” is a fun trap track, starting out simple and slowly building complexity as the track goes along. I especially like the end when there’s a whole lot going on at once. This is a more chill track, as per usual with Bronze Whale. Check it out on Beatport!

Them Jersey boys I.O.U. are back with a new single “I Refuse” sampling the Temptations and the dance classic “Zombie Nation” and though they haven’t made any official announcements, I have a feeling a project is in the works, it’s been too long that we’ve gotten a mixtape from the Rutgers boys. They’ve been working though that’s for sure, peep the official remix of Ayah Marar’s Beg Borrow Steal done by Izee (1/2 of the duo, Buck‘s the other guy), and make sure you listen and get this free download! One thing I must say, we gotta work on your cover arts my Gs!

Cover, Hip-Hop, Rap | Kid Slim & K.Weezy – Tour Van Jams
Posted by J_Salzer on November 2, 2013
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to see Kid Slim open up for Fresh New Tracks legend, SoMo. To put my experience lightly, it was cathartic. Kid Slim was an artist who I had contact with early in his career when his music was not blog-ready. To see his progression is one of the most fabulous things I’ve experienced. After I told him his music was not good enough to be on our site, I now tell you all that his music is quite good enough to be on this site. His latest mixtape, Freshman 15, was phenomenal, and his stage presence in undeniable.
One of my favorite segments from the show was when he and his DJ/producer K.Weezy, switched it up a little and hit the fans with a cover of “Best I Ever Had.” The girls, and myself, went crazy. K. Weezy did a phenomenal job on the strings and Kid Slim surprised everyone with a voice I would never have expected from the 6 foot 8 man. We have been blessed with a full version of their impromptu jam on last weeks edition of “Tour Van Jams,” which can be found above. If you’re in the mood for a couple of laughs, check out the cover of “I Like Big Butts” below. Kid Sim has come a long way, and he’s going to go a lot farther, so hop on while you can!
Trap | Avicii – You Make Me (Electric Bodega Remix)

That ass though, man, what a cover art for Electric Bodega’s latest trap remix of Avicii ‘s “You Make Me!” Electric Bodega is made up of Mike Cash and Emilio Sparks, whom you might know from his show on Sirius XM’s Shade 45, and in my opinion this remix is a lot more fun than the original song, and I’m not just saying that cause of the cover art. That ass though… Enjoy the view, and check out this remix, this is a must listen and must download!

Reggae, Trap | Lorde – Royals (Reef’d Remix)
Posted by Mach on October 25, 2013
The Reggae/Rock group, Reef’d, have put themselves in a new light with this beautiful cover of Lorde’s “Royals”. Blending in a little bit of Trap and Soul to the mix, the group showed myself at least that they are prepared for a whole new level Reggae that anyone can soak their ears into. This cover can bring a smile to your face even on the worst of days, I would know, it’s helped me feel good as well. Keep an eye out for great tracks from Reef’d in the future, seems everyone is working on good new beginnings.
