Leah Haxhi, NYC singer/songwriter, hits us with another Adele cover that rivals all the competition. Keeping it simple with just minimal piano and vocals, this live video gives you the feeling you are sitting right there in the studio with Leah. At first it seems as if she is keeping it very close to the original, but then the second chorus breaks off into a free-style bridge that adds a unique twist to the song. Live studio visuals by Marin Hamataj and Brenton Ruh also complement the relaxed feeling of the cover. We expect to see big things from Leah in the near future, as she is putting together a demo of original songs and also working on new tracks with various DJs and producers such as Afrojack, Shelco Garcia and Teenwolf, and some other hard-hitters in the EDM and pop world. Follow Leah for more music and updates coming soon.

The soulful young star, Sebastian Mikael recently released his rendition of Adele’s “Chasing Pavements”, once again proving his versatile skill set. From a more pop driven record such as “Take Me Higher” to a very powerful vocal track in “Chasing Pavements”, it’s evident this young Epic signee is on the verge of crushing the charts. The track’s video was shot during a recording session in Miami and features very authentic scenes of Sebastian questioning life’s crossroads. Stay up with this pop star on the come up by following him, socially.
Dubstep, Glitch | Adele – Skyfall (Quincy Kwalae Remix)
Posted by Grubeats on October 18, 2012
When Adele releases a new song, the world listens. Regardless of you’re preference for music, you, at the very least, have to acknowledge and appreciate her voice. Producer Quincy Kwalae, who recently released an awesome qollab EP with J.T. Roach, “Piñata After Party”, is back with an original mix to Adele’s latest single, “Skyfall”. Quincy shared with me how this track came about;
“When I heard Adele’s “Skyfall” last week I knew I had to remix it. I’ve always liked Adele, but there is something mysterious about that particular track…maybe it’s the warm, vintage sound that seems to belong to a past decade yet remain relevant. I don’t know. But I do know that my mom got me an N64 for my (24th) birthday back in August, so Goldeneye already had me in the Bond mood. I actually snuck a Klobb gunshot sample from that game into my remix.” – Q
Described as “dubby, glitch-hoppy $ clippity cloppity” by the man himself, take this for what it is and enjoy the latest from the Midwest’s own, Quincy Kwalae.
Alternative, Videos | Adele – Skyfall

Adele was chosen by MGM Studios to give the new James Bond movie, “Skyfall,” some true English style. Co-written with Paul Epworth, Adele pushes her voice to another extreme. This extreme is not high notes but the deep classicalism she portrays with her voice, taking you back to the original days of James Bond and the class and suave that is he. The video above disappointingly does not depict much James Bond, but after taking a few full listens it just doesn’t even matter. Adele is one of the greatest singers in the world, not just because she can sing well but she can sing differently when it calls and continue to bring tears to the eyes of those who listen. “Skyfall” is now available for purchase on iTunes.
Featured, Progressive House | Introducing: Vicetone

I would like to introduce you guys to Vicetone, two 20 year old producers from Groningren in Northern Holland (they just keep on coming). Their productions are flawless with full bodied, top of the line melodies, crisp bass lines and well organized transitions, builds and breaks. They only have 3 productions on their Soundcloud page and they are all must haves — showing that they are only going to release their top of the line work. They use vocals just right, molding them to their deftly crafted melodies. Their most recent remix of Adele’s hit “Someone Like You” exemplifies that with a soft build with agile key play, dancing alongside the vocals. It then moves into a break of a sublime melody with intricate layers and a hard clap. The remixes of Flo Rida’s hit single “Whistle” and Calvin Harris & Ne Yo’s “Let’s Go” continue this trend of well crafted, uplifting melodies and superb bass lines. The full version of the “Whistle” remix can be found on their Soundcloud page. Check all of these out and be on the look out for more tracks from these guys in the future!

Mashups | Adele vs. R3hab – Set Fire To The Night (M.O.S. Bootleg)
Posted by Jess on April 20, 2012
DJ M.O.S. put together this nice little bootleg combining Adele and R3hab. Can’t really go wrong with that! Adele may be one of the most remixed artists of the past year or so but there is a reason for that. Combine that with R3hab, who is one of the best Electro producers in the game right now, and you got yourself a banger.
Albums, Hip-Hop | Mike Posner – “Rolling In The Deep” | Pop

Not going to lie, I never liked Mike Posner. This just blew my mind. This may have been an original track of Adele, but I seriously have to give him a round of applause for making this sound like his own. It’s INCREDIBLE.
