Kap Slap musically narrates one of the most back and forth romances of the decade with an incredible new mashup/remix, “Same Old Sorry”. Featuring the vocals from “Sorry”, “Same Old Love” combined with a remix of Steve James’s “Renaissance”, Kap Slap tells the classic story of love and heartbreak between Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. In Kap Slap’s own words: “So I was thinking about how no one ever makes a remix of a song, then mashes it up with other vocals… So I did it” and boy are we glad he did! From Disney Channel star, to pop princess, to dance music star, it seems like Selena Gomez can do anything. She’s dominated the pop stage with tracks like “The Heart Wants What It Wants,” before exploring into the dance music arena with her collaboration with Zedd, “I Want You To Know,” which dominated the festival circuit this year. Her latest hit, “Good For You,” tabbed one of this year’s biggest rappers, A$AP Rocky, but Selena has gone full dance for the official remix package, which features remixes by Nebbra, Yellow Claw & Cesqeaux, and Kasbo. The three remixes could not be more different from each other, in a good way. From a stand-out future tropical take by Nebbra, to a heavy-hitting trap re-imagination by Yellow Claw & Cesqeaux, to a future bass rendition that is dripping in vibes by Kasbo, the “Good For You” remix package has a little bit of everything.

When Zedd throws a remix competition, you know it’s going to blow up and attract the attention of tons of producers. In addition to receiving $10,000, the grand prize winner will have a meeting with Interscope executives and studio time with Zedd himself. Golden opportunities like these don’t come often, but when they do, we can assure you that some amazing remix entries will be released during the process.

Today, we’re excited to show you Crankdat’s take on the original record, ‘I Want You to Know’ by Zedd and Selena Gomez. The Ohio-based producer flips the radio-friendly track into a hard-hitting trap banger, but then switches it up with a melodic future bass drop in the second half of the production. It’s clear that this young artist has to production chops to make waves in this scene and only time will tell whether or not he’ll be able to separate him from the pack.

Girl Fire | Listen To This Devi “I Want You To Know” Ripper

This is absolute girl fire. The moment I heard those piano stabs it was all over. Up-and-coming Russian producer DEVI brings the heat with his interpretation of Zedd’s horrendous “I Want You To Know” collaboration with Selena Gomez, who he’s currently doing the no pants dance with. DEVI’s remix makes this tune listenable. While he has no biography, he says he loves to “makes bangers :)” which is exactly what he’s done here. What a tune. Hats off to this kid.

Zedd’s new track with Selena Gomez is a certified radio banger. It may be a little too EDM for the charts, but it will get there, especially when Zedd’s album comes out in the next few months. Moiez decided to flip the track on its head and take it to the clubs with a rave-ready, acid-infused remix that gives the tune a bit more of an edge from the pop sheen that was required for Gomez’s vocals. In his latest attempt to lay the mack on 21-year old pop goddess, Huey remix’s Selena Gomez’s radio burner, “Come and Get It”.  Huey seizes the opportunity to take a few stabs at Biebs – “Got Selena whippin’ in my beamer, damn shit changed, f*cked her on spring break and made her a believer, dang, hi Selena, I promise TMZ will never see the footage, but you can hit me cause I’ll always do what Bieber couldn’t.” Go get ’em, Huey.

Drum & Bass | Selena Gomez – Come & Get it (Dotcom Remix)

Dotcom Music
Plain and simple, the only thing hotter than this album art is the song itself. Up and comer, Dotcom has been on fire recently stirring quite a buzz in the dubstep community. Today he delivers a heavy drum and bass remix to Selena Gomez’s “Come & Get it” that makes it acceptable for a 23 year old man to be blasting Selena Gomez on his way to work (I may or may not do that to the original version as well).
