Dance, Pop | Kai Straw Drops Uplifting Anthem “Everything’s Sweet”

Posted by on August 2, 2019

Kai Straw has long been a unique creator that I can’t help but to throw on repeat. Every new single gets rinsed and the same can be said for his latest single “Everything’s Sweet.” The catchy anthem is Kai’s most uplifting tune to date and plays off the style of his previous single “Supernova” off his superb album GUN. “Everything’s Sweet” may be my favorite Kai record yet, but there are plenty of other competitors in his catalog. Check out “Everything’s Sweet” today and see if it takes the cake for your favorite Kai Straw single.

Chill | Kai Straw Unloads Profound Single “Brighter Me”

Posted by on June 28, 2019

Kai Straw has long been a unique artist that manages to create at a level above most others. We could go all the way back to his OG days, but even in focusing in on his most recent two albums and 2019 single “Madonna” there are loads to love and be inspired by. His latest single “Brighter Me” does just the same with its catchy composition and powerful lyrics. Kai tackles the troubles of alcoholism in a profound way for one of his best tracks so far. Share this meaningful tune around and make sure to keep on the lookout for more soon from one of San Francisco’s finest.

Electronic, Exclusive, Featured | Premiere: Lincoln Jesser – Untold

Posted by on August 26, 2014

lincoln jesser

You may not be totally familiar with the name Lincoln Jesser, but that is probably going to change soon and his past work is a good indication of that. He previously toured the world as the guitarist of YUNA. Having split off to form his own project a year ago, Lincoln Jesser is finally ready to unveil his final, completed work to the world in the form of an artist album “Modern Color” on September 23rd.

As the singer, songwriter and producer on the album, Lincoln Jesser gives his work an authentic feel in a sound that is by default very manufactured. With its heavy emphasis on synths and mellow, even vocals, Lincoln Jesser has given us just the right teaser for what should be a cracker of an album.

If you pre-order the album, you will get an instant download of “Untold”, which you can only stream right here, right now. Also check him out at any of the dates below that is most convenient. Pre-order the album on iTunes now.

Returning to his home on Anjunadeep, Lane 8 delivers another soothing, summery tune that emphasizes male vocals in a much stronger way than we have seen in the past. Events | Get Stoked: Ookay x Tropkillaz @ Regency San Francisco, TONIGHT

Ookay

Okay, so it’s about that time of the year where work is pretty much at full-tilt and the novelty of it being summer has just about completely worn off. It’s about that time of the year where you have things planned for later, but right now, you’re just kind of sitting on your ass, waiting for an opportunity to let loose and really get down into that summer groove. Well, if you’re from the Bay Area, that opportunity has finally arrived: class-A trap troll Ookay and Brazilian heavy hitters Tropkillaz are hitting up Regency Ballroom this evening.

This show is going to be absolutely nutsOokay, a seasoned performer, fresh off the stage at EDC Vegas, will no doubt throw down one of the craziest live sets you’ll see this year. He’s also got a pretty sweet sense of humor that he somehow manages to factor into his sets. My personal favorite was when he trolled an entire venue with “Martin Garrix Had A Farm” – see the video evidence below.

As for Tropkillaz, everyone knows things are just a little more edgy in South America. You can count on something massively twerk-tastic from this Sao Paolo-based duo. It’s a bit NSFW, but if you want to see an example of a Tropkillaz show, go and check it out HERE.

So, before it’s too late (because it will get to that point), go and grab your tickets HERE. It’s time to get wild and say you actually did something this summer.
