Slinger is back with his second remix ever, this time reworking Pharrell’s “Brand New” into an explosive party for your ears! I know a lot of you are probably bummed that it’s Monday, but I’m here to change that for ya’ll as Monday is the first day of the work week, and it’s better to start off your week happy then miserable and complaining, so why not let a little bass and Pharrell’s happy spirit cheer you up and get you set for success? VMan’s got you! This is a must listen and look out for more from the UK producer. Smile!
Hip-Hop, Rap | Daye Jack – Hello World (Video)
Posted by admin on April 30, 2014
Making his first appearance on Fresh New Tracks is Atlanta local, Daye Jack. After turning down a scholarship to play college soccer, Jack packed his bags for the city and has been studying and working at NYU since. Jack’s style is hard to pinpoint and shifts between soulful and hard hip-hop. His freshman mixtape, Hello World showcases a versatility that many veterans aspire to.
With the budding talent coming from Atlanta from artists such as Raury and Young Thug, it’s hard to not see Daye Jack fitting right in to the blossoming music scene.
Electro | Twin Shadow – Old Love/ New Love (Tim Gunter Remix)
Posted by dshaq on April 23, 2014
Summer can’t come soon enough and today we have Tim Gunter making us want it even more with this brand new remix to Twin Shadow’s Old Love/New Love hit. Tim had a little blurb about the track and how he thought to give it his own spin:
Good vibes, good tunes, and great weather, cant ask for any more. Keep this one lined up for your summer playlists, it won’t disappoint, I promise.

Man I love it when tracks are sent my way that figuratively blow me away, and “Sunshine” by New Jersey artist Marcus Ariah and produced by PCP does just that! Reminiscent of that smooth New York flow comparable to a young Lloyd Banks, I’ve had this track on repeat all day, and I can’t wait to cruise to this with the windows down, seat rolled back, and my shorty by my side. All that’s missing on this record is a Styles P featuring, but we can save that for the remix. If you hear this on the radio any time soon, make sure you saw it first here, real talk. This is a must listen and a must download.

Chill, Hip-Hop | Nelly – Ride Wit Me (Viceroy “Jet Life” Remix)
Posted by Grubeats on April 7, 2014
This is precisely why us East-coasters love Viceroy. While you spoiled Californian’s, Texan’s, Floridians, and any other Southern-ians have warm weather all year round, us New Englander’s are hitting the beach the minute it hits 60 degrees in April. The king of “Summertime All The Time” hits us with a filthy remix of vintage Nelly – Ride Wit Me. If you’re looking for windows down music, regardless of the temperature outside, look no further.

Bass | AYAH MARAR ‘KEEP ME UP’ (PRODUCED BY METRIK)
Posted by VMan on March 22, 2014
The Queen of Bass Ayah Marar just released visuals for her latest banger “Keep Me Up” produced by Hospital Record’s own Metrik, and I can’t get enough of this chick. My first intro to these two working together is on Metrik’s remix of Mrs Marar’s “Unstoppable” off her album “The Real” and when Mistajam from BBC Radio 1xtra made the announcement that he was going to premiere their latest collaboration, I knew it’d get real. This is a must listen and check the shots of Ayah and her team of MCs as they take over New Zealand and perform at the Rhythm & Vines music festival!
