Dubstep | Minnesota – Float Ft. Zion I
Posted by CHAZZZ on October 15, 2012
Studying abroad in Barcelona has taught me two things, American girls are just average and my neighbors here really don’t like loud music. Although my neighbors won’t feel the same, I know the FNT nation is going to love this track from Minnesota. A perfect collab with Zion I makes Minnesota’s bass come to life through his flawless, smooth lyrics. If you’re not watching the Denver Broncos put a beat down on the San Diego Chargers tonight, throw this one on repeat, jump in the lair and feel the bass. Don’t miss Minnesota on tour this Fall – dates above.
Trap | Bro Safari – Scumbag
Posted by Sev on September 19, 2012
I’m sure you guys have already heard me blab about how I am not the biggest fan of the Trap movement, but I am fan of a great track. Which is what brings me to posting this latest track that was just featured on the Trap-A-Holics mixtape, that can be downloaded through the link provided on his Soundcloud Description. This track is bouncy and mean at the same time adding an Electronic spin to this Trap take on the Biggie Smalls sampled lyrics.
Girl Fire, Pop | TRIPL & ELIAD – BAILANDO FT. LILA (RADIO EDIT)
Posted by A on August 29, 2012
So I’ve got this friend in Israel. His name is Shlomo Jamil. Even though we’ve never met, we talk like every single day. We have a hard time understanding each other sometimes, but we communicate via sharing links to music back and forth. He has a passion for music just like I do. He’s basically the Israeli version of me. I’ve always thought “music is a universal language” is such a cliche catch-phrase, but in this case it actually applies. He hits me up tonight, tells me to listen to this. I don’t even understand the lyrics but this is the epitome of girl fire.
So, here’s the deal with TripL & Eliad’s breakout third “Bailando single. The Tel-Aviv production team “TripL” produced it and it interpolates elements from the famed 1997 “Bailando” by “Paradisio”, featuring vocals from Lila. I can already see myself crushing the dance floor in all my white awkwardness. Power pointing towards all the baddest b*tches in the room. Bailando. Caliente. Dale.
Alternative, Indie, Videos | Connor Zwetsch – The Little Things (Video)
Posted by J_Salzer on August 25, 2012
FNT’s own Connor Zwetsch hits us with her newest video offering. I have a little bias when I say this, because Connor is from my hometown, and is a close friend, but I think she has one of the best, most unique voices out right now. Her covers are insane, while her original stuff always has hard hitting lyrics, and smooth instrumentals played by Connor herself. She has a single releasing soon, with an EP to follow. Make sure you like her facebook page below to stay updated, but if you’re too lazy to do that, have no fear, FNT will always get you the scoop.
Hip-Hop, Trap | Captain Murphy – Shake Weight (TNGHT Version)
Posted by Sev on August 14, 2012
If you are a fan of the Trap game and haven’t heard of TNGHT yet, then you need to get to searching. Consisted of Hudson Mohawke and Lunice this dynamic Trap duo has been taking the scene by storm. After a good response from their first EP, lyricists are all over their hot beats. Captain Murphy is the latest to give TNGHT’s track Bugg’n a shot. Right off the start he gives off a Tyler The Creator vibe with his graphic, vulgar lyrics. It seems as though this Odd Future’s style has caught many peoples attention and become a wanted commodity whether you like it or not. You can grab this track as a free download HERE.
Hip-Hop, Videos | Hopsin – ill mind of Hopsin 5
Posted by dshaq on July 18, 2012
I’m not much of a Hopsin fan, but this really intrigued me. His lyrics are out there but his flow is on point. The emphasis is what really got me with this song, especially his yelling. This definitely makes me want to listen to some of his other stuff. Make sure to be on the lookout for more Hopsin and his Ill Mind.
Dubstep | Butch Clancy – Lonely
Posted by Mach on July 6, 2012
Feels like its been a while since Butch Clancy dropped some heat like this track. He uploaded this track to his Soundcloud a few months back but finally gave out a free download for it. The track is as you could imagine from the title, a little sad lyrically. Butch Clancy owned those lyrics and complimented them perfectly, making this one sick Dubstep track.
