SoCal producer jordnmoody is making his debut on FUXWITHIT with the massive new single ‘Rolldro.’ Hot off performances at Lightning In A Bottle and The Untz Festival, and with releases on Wakaan, Jadu Dala, Bassrush, and more, jordnmoody has been steadily ascending the ranks of bass music’s finest.
‘Rolldro’ is a hypnotic and intoxicating anthem that’ll have you coming back for more. The simple yet effective pitched-down vocal sample gives the track a gritty hip-hop swagger and instant familiarity. The melody and playful percussion create a sense of intrigue as haunting vocal bends add to the dark beauty. The drops see chest-pounding low end intertwined with brain-bending sound design for a heavy-hitting bass sound. Blurring the boundaries of speaker rattling banger and laidback head-nodder, ‘Rolldro’ is at home in any setting.
“There was a period last year where I locked myself in the studio to whip up as many new tunes as possible before playing LIB, this was one of those tunes. I just came off writing a couple atonal type tracks and wanted to try something on a more melodic tip but still have a bit of grit to it. So, this was the end result of all that I guess haha.”

The second drop was made to intensify the emotion of the song and really just summarize the whole idea as a constant buildup into that second drop. First things first, look at the top left corner of the picture for some hot stuff. Do I ever wish I could have been that couch for the night haha.. As a thank you for 150k likes on Facebook, Marcus Schossow has given away a new track titled “Kings Of Summer Nights”. As alluded to by the title, this song is a dedication to the late nights he spent as a teenager growing up in Sweden. The song is quite different from his current stuff and is instead a light progressive tune that is almost trance like at times. This isn’t the type of track you would expect from him but it’s great and we can only hope he makes more like it in the future.

Great Skies releases one incredible tune after another. I don’t get how he remains so consistant, but I should just shut up and enjoy haha. Follow this guy, I have no doubt he will continue his trend of releasing great tunes.

I won’t lie, there are certain songs that make me tear up. Just kidding there isn’t. Though there are songs that make me slow down and think about things. Is this song one of them? Perhaps. A year from now when I listen to this i’ll have plenty of things to ponder upon. Were The Chainsmokers actually orphans? Why do they start every message with a series of “haha’s”? And most importantly of all, why did they call me fat? Some things I’ll never know. Maybe in time when I look back and reminisce on our complicated relationship things will become clear, but for now i’m just going to go listen to this emotional indie house track… and cry.

It already goes without saying that xKore has been taking the scene by storm these past few months, but thats not what this post is about. Masq is a new artist I was introduced to when the Getter – Fallout remix competition arose. I still think he holds one of the best remixes in the competition, but that decision is up to Getter. After scavenging through his Soundcloud I ran into this amazing bootleg remix that wasn’t released and I knew needed to be. Masq carries his own unique sound and creates tracks in all areas of the BPM spectrum, from neruohop, to dnb, to dubstep, with even a little free form piano here and there. This track was one of xKore’s older pieces that was never completed/released as far as I know, but Masq took the melody and threw his flavor all over this track to create this more aggressive sounding bootleg remix. Of course we were able to get it as a free download for you guys which you can find below, along with a little background about Masq in the interview we had with him; also below.

FREE DOWNLOAD: Mosch – Coelho (Simp Remix)
Above is a cool visual that is mixed well into the remix by Simp. Watching it makes me wonder… if we lived in a dimension where time was set to 18,000fps, would we even know the difference? haha, trippy. Anyways, ’til this day I’m still constantly jaded by having a musical taste that revolves solely around simplified beats that are no greater than hip-hop instrumentals. Twisted vocal samples, mingled with subtle sonic arrangements that aren’t so repetitive is all I need. That said, let’s hear some.
A superb new track from Affelaye, previously known as Joe Martin. All I know is that his productions are by far some of the cleanest, well put together beats I’ve heard. Listen below.
