“I wrote the instrumental for Heart originally as a much more piano centred track. It was a pretty emotional concept, and I was really leaning into the expression of the chords and melody. When I asked John (aka Easy Morning) to work on vocals with me, we created a story of lost love, and being so happy to see someone again that you never fully got to be honest with. Heart is a story about meeting up with someone from your past and finally being able to pour out your emotion to them but being hesitant about whether that’s the right thing to do or not.” ~ MarMar

“I actually woke up in the middle of the night one day in May 2020 with one word on my mind: “guillotine”. It’s a little dark but as soon as I woke up I was thinking how it could be such a cool concept for a song! I spent the next week or so fleshing out the lyrics and creating the demo production. The original version was actually a lot more moody and mellow than this really bright and more upbeat version that was created with my friend, Féz, over in the UK. He absolutely crushed the production and honestly transformed it into a hit!” – Ci Majr

Aash Mehta. Remember that name because you’re going to be hearing a lot of it this summer. The young producer just dropped his debut EP, “Dreams Money Can’t Buy” and its fantastic. Exactly one year ago, after realizing the music he was making was more to satisfy a trend rather than something that came straight from the heart, Aash Mehta deleted every public trace of his old sound and created the concept of “Dreams Money Can’t Buy” – a collection of original productions filled with emotion, passion, and raw energy. EXACTLY one year later, “Dreams Money Can’t Buy”, along with its final single, “The Phoenix” is out! This EP is beautiful, but the best way to describe it is to listen to it. As most of you are eagerly anticipating TomorrowWorld in the next coming weeks, here at FNT we have our eyes set on Amsterdam Dance Event, the most exciting dance event in the world which brings together artists, producers, press agents, labels, managers, journalists, and pretty much anyone or everyone who’s affiliated with dance music and is willing to be a part of this event from October 15 to October 19. Last year Nimada and I attended the event, linking up with DJ Snake, Calvin Harris, Ayah Marar, Duke Dumont, TEED, DJ Shadow and many many more, so it was obvious to us that we had to come back this year. In honor of our attendance we’ve decided to put together the top 5 reasons to attend ADE, and yes it’s Amsterdam, so you can already imagine what the city has to offer, but believe us when we say, we’re going for the music! 20syl has been a major Producer and DJ in the Euro scene but just recently blew up all over again from his collaboration with Oddisee called “Ongoing Thing”. This is another single from the project Motifs EP, which is available for purchase on iTunes. The video concept for this song is perfect.

The up and coming Swedish pop star Tove Lo hits us with “Not On Drugs” off her album Truth Serum which we will be released worldwide March 3rd. For some of ya’ll this might be too poppy for your taste, but I can’t help but like this one. The drug is love concept behind the hook is a catchy one, we all know what it’s like to be in love, which can be addictive, or have you tripping, but Tove Lo is not on drugs! It begins as a concept and once Jon enters his element, the creative thoughts and sounds stack like Lego’s. Drums, one of a kind sounds Jon lets loose on the spot, & whatever other tricks he has up his sleeve on that given day – they all fill into each record. For those of you that saw & heard “One More Time” when Jon released it a few weeks back know the seductive story that inspired it all. What daddy don’t know, doesn’t hurt daddy, right?
