As most of you are eagerly anticipating TomorrowWorld in the next coming weeks, here at FNT we have our eyes set on Amsterdam Dance Event, the most exciting dance event in the world which brings together artists, producers, press agents, labels, managers, journalists, and pretty much anyone or everyone who’s affiliated with dance music and is willing to be a part of this event from October 15 to October 19. Last year Nimada and I attended the event, linking up with DJ Snake, Calvin Harris, Ayah Marar, Duke Dumont, TEED, DJ Shadow and many many more, so it was obvious to us that we had to come back this year. In honor of our attendance we’ve decided to put together the top 5 reasons to attend ADE, and yes it’s Amsterdam, so you can already imagine what the city has to offer, but believe us when we say, we’re going for the music! Click on the jump to check out the list, and if you’ve got a couple bucks to spare for a plane ticket to Amsterdam, do it, you won’t regret it!

1. Amsterdam – If you’ve never been, Amsterdam is one of the most exciting cities in Europe, from the culture, to the way of life dictated by bycicle traffic, a maze of canals, and herbal scents throughout the air, if you’re going to be attending a dance event, it might as well be in this glorious city. Just getting lost in it, you never know where you’re going to end up!

2.The Line Up – I’m currently scrolling down ADE’s website of featured performers, and I’m seeing Wankelmut, Metrik, Oliver Heldens, Maya Jane Cole, UZ, Afrojack, Armin Van Buuren, Artee, Bakermat, Chris Malinchak, Camo & Crooked, Dannic, Hardwell, John Digweed, Klingande, Lane 8, Manik, Mark Knight, Martin Garrix…. I could go on and on, and if that’s not enough to convince you, get the full list here!

3.The Actual Conference – If you’re a producer, artist, or DJ and you want to get the best insight and get your music heard by label heads, bloggers, or fellow producers, this is the place to be! I’m having a flashback moment of DJ Snake and Yellow Claw at a 300 capacity club being passed a USB drive by someone from the crowd, or randomly running into A&Rs from Ultra, Big Beat, and Spinnin, this could be your big break! And heck… this is your chance to meet me, so shoot me an email at [email protected] if you’ll be there, and let’s grab a drink and talk music!

4.The Clubs – It’s safe to say that Amsterdam is way ahead of the game when it comes to clubs. There’s one club in particular, Air where we saw TEED and Duke Dumont last year, if you’ve never been, it’s definetily one of a kind. The concept of Air is to keep everything transparent, thus you don’t use money, you put money on a card, which you give to the bartender who doesn’t actually pour you the drink, so no matter how much you tip, you’ll be getting the same amount of liquor, everything is automatized and machine controlled, which is great business, and overall an innovative concept that one needs to experience.

5. It’s The Place To Be – No where else are you able to find an event where you are up close and personal with the hottest acts of today, and tomorrow, dropping exclusives after exclusives, testing out records. I’m here reminiscing about the time Nimada went on stage to tap up DJ Snake on our way out of the club, nowhere else are you able to do this, unless maybe Miami Winter Conference, but then again it’s not Amsterdam… If it’s not this year, make sure you get your ass out to ADE, it’s a once and a lifetime experience, and I get to experience it a second time, and you bet I’ll be there next year as well!
