Alternative | BETSIE GØLD Gets “Overwhelming” on New Single

Posted by on October 22, 2020

Oxfordshire, UK based singer and songwriter BETSIE GØLD returns on the scene with her self-described ‘BITCH PØP’ sound via her latest anthem “Overwhelming”, a topic that I’m sure most readers are very familiar during this COVID-19 pandemic the past 6+ months. The single sees her continue her pursuit of bright and euphoric pop aesthetics. Mixing her bold and soaring vocals with a shimmering and captivating production throughout, this is a very strong release by BETSIE GØLD. Speaking about the new release, she said, “I wrote this track with Kaity Rae back in February. It was the last thing we wrote before lockdown, but somehow the lyrics seem to resonate even more now. It’s about being completely overcome with every single emotion possible when starting a relationship with someone new after a really long time. It’s exciting, terrifying, fun, anxiety inducing. We basically made a list of everything that makes us feel overwhelmed or over stimulated and added a melody to it.” Listen to “Overwhelming” above now!

Progressive House | Chris Schambacher Breathes Fresh Life Into “Axion – Of My Soul”

Posted by on July 18, 2016

There’s not much that I thought the progressive house scene could give me. Those times sort of died down a couple years ago, around 2013-2015 – or so I thought. Chris Schambacher has injected some serious juice into “Axion – Of My Soul”. The single knocks the boots off the original and makes the atmosphere feel like a good time, instantly.

Chris Schambacher is making the rounds that everyone needs to make to rise in the ranks within dance music. This dude seems focused, has an eye for details, and should be on your “to watch” list.

Collaborating with Zack Martino, Razz drops a remix to “Walking On A Dream” and it is a beauty! “This record really brought back memories of our youth, so we decided to put our own spin on it,” says Razz, “We want you to feel like you’re back in one of your childhood memories after listening to this.” I don’t know about you, but this definitely transported me back in time to the days when things were a lot simpler. A beautiful vocal, combined with a summery drop has Razz & Zack Martino’s remix of “Walking On A Dream” on my list of summer 2016 hits! Check it out now and see for yourself.

Ok, there’s been lots of news over the past few months about the end of Soundcloud and we wanted to put together a quick list of our favorite Soundcloud alternatives to check out. With all of the uncertainty, here are some great places to diversify where you’re connecting with fans:

Bandcamp – This has been around for a while now, and a great place to sell music. It definitely lacks some social features like repost’s and comments, but definitely a great place to sell music if you have a loyal fanbase. It might seem a bit old fashioned to use Bandcamp, but it’s a sure thing for selling music.

Mixcloud – An amazing place to post mixes, maybe not the best place to put all of your music, but a great home for your mixes. Lots of radio shows and DJ’s are using it and seems like an obvious fit for your set.

Fanburst – The newcomer we recently discovered with an awesome way to share Albums and EP’s. The best part about Fanburst is that it’s totally free and has a powerful set of analytics tools. Definitely worth checking out, it’s pretty much Soundcloud but free for artists.

YouTube – Let’s not forget about the king of music and video sharing, with the recent launch of YouTube Red and a massive user base, Youtube is a tip top place to put your music. While YouTube lacks some social features, it makes up in the userbase. YouTube should definitely be in your swiss army knife of services.
