Dubstep | Brigs “I’m in Love” is A Mind-Blowing Bass/Soft Rock Hybrid
Posted by VMan on January 16, 2016
Brig has been featured on FNT many times, but no release matches the depth that Brig puts out on this one. The Russian bass artist added some of the most emotional elements to his music ever – and it translated brilliantly.
When that guitar parts hit, you get stuck in this happy trance where you’re loving what you are hearing but have no idea what’s coming next. Each passing beat bring about some large or small, but smooth change.
Brig is on fire going into 2015, check out more about him here.
Videos | The Official Music Video EDX Just Put Out Will Have You “Breathin'” Hard
Posted by Juicebox on August 13, 2015
EDX is a man of many sounds. After establishing himself as a major player in the progressive arena, the Italian-native producer decided to change it up last year, infusing his tracks with a deeper groove than his typical style. One of his very first forays into this new sound was “Breathin’,” which re-solidified the claim that his sonic redirection was a viable change. Today, the Swiss house virtuoso is back with the official “Breathin'” music video, which follows the story of a nostalgic, old man at a lake house. As the video goes on, it flashes back to the man with his lover, who is presumably passed away in the present, as he reflects on his lost love. Check it out above, and you can get “Breathin'” on Beatport or iTunes.

Progressive House | Dekagram Goes Big On Bootleg Of “The Only Way Is Up” By Tiësto & Martin Garrix

Hot off the coattails of Tiësto and Martin Garrix’s “The Only Way is Up” announcement comes a bootleg that’s here to soak up some of the spotlight, and rightfully so. Dekagram, an ATL native looking to make a name for himself in the realm of progressive house, dropped his version of the Dutch boys unreleased single yesterday, and it’s turning some heads. His version takes on the same premise as the original, but he really lets the beast out, and that’s a change we can whole-heartedly welcome. From start to finish, Dekagram lets the floodgates wide open with high powered synth leads, a hard driving bass-line, and tasteful use of the originals vocal cuts.
For those who don’t feel like there’s enough “umpf” coming from Tiësto n’ Garrix’s version, this will definitely do the trick. Dekagram is making big strides of improvement in his productions, which just makes us that much more excited for whatever he’s got cooking up next. In the meantime you can enjoy his “Only Way Up” bootleg as a freebie!

Bass | Carmada – Maybe (Dr. Fresch Remix)

Off the official OWSLA Carmada remix pack comes ‘Dr. Fresch’ with his genre busting remix of “Maybe”.
This progressively gets darker and teases you with what is to come after the drop. After the first breakdown as we approach the bridge; ‘Fresch’ mixes things up and goes into a slow melodic trap beat with 808 snares with a much softer synth. This unexpected beat change from the 4 on the floor house kicks to melodic trap, is the perfect way to gently move you on to another song…that is if you haven’t already hit replay.

Deorro is a name thats on everyone’s lips these days. He’s gone from small town club venues to mainstages world-wide and he’s showing no signs of slowing down. His latest release on Ultra Records is a testament to this fact and boy oh boy has he added a whole new meaning to the term “bass.” The development of Deorro as an artist has exponential, as the quality of each release brings something fresh to the ever-changing EDM club scene. Above you can get a first hand experience of the type of party Deorro likes to throw. He’s finding a balance in his music that is both ear catching and groove-provoking – an element of his music I hope he does not ever plan to change.
Scope out his latest EP “Boombox” and if you’re attending Coachella don’t miss an opportunity have your face melted.
