Pop | Dylan Reese & Zak Downtown Deliver Radio Quality Pop Single, Inbetween
Posted by Matt Keene on July 2, 2017
“I don’t want to fall in love” is what this record states in the opening line of the hook, but after one listen it is far too easy to fall in love. In what proves to be one of the most relateable records for any 20-something year old, “Inbetween” tells the story of not wanting a one night stand, but not being tied down either. After pop/R&B singer Dylan Reese sets up the framework for the record with the hook hitting some impressive falsettos, the innocence of this record comes to life with a verse from New York native Zak Downtown. Downtown’s confidence is oozing on this verse, bringing the listener back to a time all have experienced, deciding if you’re in love or simply in lust.

Tour | Crankdat Set To Bring ‘Gear Up’ Tour To Asia
Posted by VMan on May 11, 2017
Man it’s crazy how quickly this up-and-comer is rising through the ranks. Christian Smith, a.k.a. Crankdat, is only 20 years old and is about to embark on his second international tour. Last summer, he flew out to Australia for a two-week run where he played alongside bass players like SNAILS and Figure, in addition to doing some headline performances. This time around, he’ll be heading to Vietnam, Thailand and China where he’ll be touching down in six key markets. The most noteworthy show is definitely his upcoming Warp Festival performance where Zeds Dead, Deorro and Excision are also taking the stage. Crankdat’s ‘Gear Up’ tour has taken him all over North America and has been a great success so far. He’s sold out shows in Chicago, Boston, New York and several others. Big congrats to this kid and I’m sure they’ll be more to talk about soon. Until then, check to see if he’s coming to a city near you!
