Drum & Bass | Younger Brother – Psychic Gibbon (Oscillator Z Remix)

Younger Brother - Psychic Gibbon (Oscillator Z Remix)

Literally just posted new Oscillator Z yesterday and now he releases another sick tune, only this time he went with Drum & Bass. I am really addicted to the liquid style he has flowing through this. The drop is electrifying, as if charging your mind for a great adventure ahead. The vocals just bring it all together for me, without them this track would feel incomplete. All around cool Drum & Bass track, round of applause for Oscillator Z.

Progressive House | Swanky Tunes & Peking Duk feat. James McNally – You Are Like Nobody Else

Posted by on February 11, 2013

Swanky Tunes leaves their heavy electro sound of late for their first single of the year, “You Are Like Nobody Else” tabbing Australian duo Peking Duk to round out the fivesome on this production. James McNally adds infectious male vocals to this track that shows the big room sound of both Swanky Tunes & Peking Duk with its emotive synths, prominent reverbed claps, a grungy low end and smooth piano driven builds. “You Are Like Else” is a strong follow up to Swanky Tunes’ collab with Kaskade “No One Knows Who We Are“, showing promise for them going into 2013 and also puts Peking Duk on the map for many as artist to keep an eye on with already several solid productions under their belt.

Progressive House | Arias – Andromeda

Frenchman, Julien Arias, professionally known as Arias first made his name known back in 2006 aside Arno Cost with “Magenta” and later in 2011 with “Days To Come” with Arno Cost & Michael Feiner. He since has been pretty quiet, releasing a remix here and there like his “Someone Like You” remix that did pretty well. However, with the launch of his label Olympia Records and its debut release “Andromeda”, it is safe to say that Arias is back and will be busy on the production front. “Andromeda” is a very proggy, melodic track with well crafted synth layers, rolling bass lines, pitched leads, dextrous key play and a subtle vocal that round out this incredibly unique and timeless offering from the Parisian producer. This is the type of track I could see Pryda dropping during a peak moment in one of his sets.

Progressive House | Unicorn Kid – Feel So Real (Richard Knott Remix)

Posted by on January 9, 2013

Richard Knott, fresh off of his debut Pryda Friends release “Locus Solus“, gives us a fresh, unique remix that you can’t help but hit repeat. Richard Knott adds his own flare to the original, adding a spacey build, while emphasizing the scintillating synth top line straight out of the 80s and a churching bass line. Female vocals and a well placed piano melody round out this superb remix from the Liverpool native.

Update: Richard Knott recently released this re-edit he had stored in his hard drive of an old track of his for free download.

Chill, Dubstep | Cross Them Out – Approaching Dusk (Soular Order Remix)

Posted by on October 30, 2012

Oh hey look, a gif on FNT. Anyways, this is a very melodic Dubstep remix. Featuring the amazing vocals of Holly Drummond, Soular Order really knew what to do to this track to help you drift. The bass is deep, yet it gives off this incredible feel of The xx or a similar group. The gif is just random, thought it looked cool so boom, FNTs first gif ever posted. High-fives all around.
