Bootleg | Kap Slap – Starships Stay Good (ft. Hard Rock Sofa & Squire, Owl City, Carly Rae Jepsen)

Posted by on October 17, 2012

If you haven’t heard, Kap Slap will be releasing a 17+ huggee mixtape sometime next month compiled of tracks off of his Back to School Mix as well as several brand new tracks. Today, Kap Slap comes to us with a poppy party track featuring vocals from none other than Owl City and everyone’s (not so) favorite, Carly Rae Jepsen. The tracks an absolute party starter & a must download. Expect big things and stay tuned for the next few weeks as a single off the mixtape will be released weekly. Boom.

Electronic | Na Palm – Electronic Chronic #002 Podcast

Posted by on September 25, 2012

The wait is finally over! Na Palm finally dropped his long awaited Electronic Chronic #002 Podcast and it’s way dirtier than I expected. Na Palm has been teasing us with juicy hints and single tracks for the past few weeks, and the full hour is satisfyingly packed with the party bangers we’ve come to expect, along with some awesome mellow sections. As usual, from the very beginning Na gives us a view into his wickedly creative mind with hypercreative lyrics that cannot be matched by other MCs. Driving up the energy in the second part of the podcast is DJ/producer duo Milk & Cookies who absolutely kill it, bringing the hour to a banging finish. Big congrats to Na Palm and his team on crushing this podcast–I’m sure this is just the start of something epic. Download individual tracks and check out the track list after the jump!

Damn, now this is a true ravers party jam. Those of you that DJ, you have to save this for the coming weekend. Philly Blunt did some cool work to this, making this exactly what you want out of a heavy electro track. Tuesday or not, time to bust out to this one.

DO SOMETHING

Electro-House | Clinton Sparks ft. Mike Posner- IDKurName

Posted by on September 5, 2012

After the success Clinton Spark’s “Ambiguous” featuring Mike Posner and Big Sean, the dynamic duo team up once again to release, “IDKUR Name,” an anthem all too familiar after a long night of raging. Posner’s silky-smooth, “I don’t know your name, you don’t remember mine do you?” combined with Clinton’s powerful production details the inevitable amalgam of awkwardness that often unfolds the next morning when waking up from last night’s party. Stock up on Vitamin Water and Plan B, the video is coming soon.

Mashups | Nammo – Carly Rae’s Good Hangover

Posted by on August 29, 2012

Nammo is kind of like Houdini when it comes to releases, he releases something good then he disappears for a while. Well all that is about to change. I can’t tell you all of Nammo’s secrets, but I promise this perfectionist doesn’t plan to disappoint. For now you will just have to wait while listening to his newest Mashup. Nammo’s goal when creating a mashup is to first, make sure it is party and dance floor ready. Second, he wants familiarity with the vocals to allow people to sing-a-long and enjoy themselves more. This is a great track to add to your final days of Summer playlist.

Bootleg | Kap Slap – Back to School Mix

Posted by on August 27, 2012

Nothing makes a 5th year college student’s day more than downloading a new Kap Slap mix. After the success of his last mix, Kap Slap’s “Spring Break Mix,” he has decided to provide us with yet another hour long mix to keep the party going (for an hour at least). I’d list ten reasons why you need to download this mix, but I think seeing as Kap Slap made it, it’s already pretty apparent.

Electro-House, Trance | Above & Beyond – Sun & Moon (Gazzo Remix)

Posted by on August 17, 2012

Gazzo is back again this week, and just in time to kick off the weekend. This remix is very different from what I was expecting a Trance and Electro-House blend to be. The build up is lengthy, but well worth the dutch like drop. Once that comes in, the party really gets started. A perfect remix for a steamed up dance floor this weekend.
