Timeflies throw it back, but also keep it current with a mashup cover of Scar Tissue x Grenade. After a recent announcement that the RHCP would be added to the likes of Bruno Mars and whatever other Super Bowl surprises, this could be a realistic preview of what’s to come Sunday night. Taking one of the best songs of the best decade, the 90’s, and lacing it with Bruno Mars’ 2010 hit, this is certainly a unique release for Cal and Rez. The manipulated sample coupled with the power synths transports Sammy’s “Only One” into a realm that only exists on Pluto and Mars at the same damn time.
