The first major label single from Sebastian Mikael has been garnering steam as the Slip-n-Slide signee locked in Wale for his first major label assist.  Sebastian has been leaving a wake on FNT for years now but it’s just nice to start seeing him finally earning the recognition he deserves.  Sebastian hits his high notes as he gives us a play by play of his love encounter, last night.  Grab this one on iTunes as Sebastian readies for his debut album due out this fall.

Albums | AlunaGeorge – Body Music

Last night I had the pleasure of catching AlunaGeorge’ sold-out NYC show at the Bowery, and after seeing them live, I think I like their new album “Body Music” even more. AlunaGeorge is made up of Aluna Francis and George Reid, whom are both from London, and I strongly suggest you listen to the album. George’s productions mesh perfectly with Aluna’s particular vocals, which at times reminds me of Janet Jackson’s voice from back in the days, or Inoj’s voice, for those who know her. There’s no doubt about it, “Body Music” is fresh and you’re bound to find a track you love. My favorites off the album so far are  “Best Be Believing,” “Attracting Flies,” and “Lost & Found.” Stream the album on SoundCloud and get that on iTunes or find a way to get it, this is an excellent album!

DO SOMETHING

Dubstep | Lana Del Rey – Young & Beautiful (PatrickReza Remix)

Posted by on August 28, 2013

PatrickReza is back at it again with this remix of “Young & Beautiful” by Lana Del Rey. He sticks to his classic melodic style with this track, and it is impressive as usual. Lana’s songs are always a pleasure, so add some bass and it’s perfect. As the synth filled melody rises and falls over bass filled hills it’s hard not to love it. Its out for free because “sharing is caring”, says PatrickReza.

Chill, Hip-Hop | Radical Something – Spraypaint (Video)

Posted by on August 22, 2013

Gearing up for what is arguably the biggest release of their career, Radical Something continues on a streak of great music releases. Just mere weeks away from the Ride It Out album premiere, one can only imagine how excited Loggy, Josh and Big Red are. The album is a result of months and months locked away in the studio, and surely anticipation from RadSo and their fans is at its tipping point.

If “Spraypaint” is a taste of the music we can expect on Ride It Out, I cannot wait to get my copy of the album on September 2nd. Light-hearted and fun, “Spraypaint” brings about a positive vibe and deeper underlying message about spreading the love.

So, spread the love and pre-order Radical Something’s album here! And be sure to catch them on their almost-two month tour in a city near you!

Hip-Hop, Rap | Caskey – Show Me Some (Prod. Myles William)

Caskey-Show-Me-Some-516x340

The YMCMB protege Caskey has been on my radar for a minute ever since I heard his track “Words” around this time last year, and he’s still grinding. His producer Myles William sent over “Show Me Some” last night and I fux with it heavy. Caskey jetted to Paris, France to shoot this video, and he isn’t stunting, he’s keeping it real. It appears when one of the biggest label in the game signs you, those who hated, or weren’t paying attention, start showing love. Ironic how that works? Either way this record is a must listen, and a must download, and look out for his mixtape The Transient Classics out August 28th!
