The Biebs himself has recently started a Music Monday series, releasing a new track every week, and FNT regular PropaneLv took to last weeks “Heartbreaker” release for his weekly Monday remix series. Really liking the addition of some bars to this down tempo love song.

Yes technically the title of the track is the bootleg of “Be” and “Show Me Love” by Hardwell, but the men of the hour here are NYC duo Filtercrush. This may not be for everyone, especially for those who are in love with the iconic piano of the original, but the NYC duo keep the melody, but add their own percussive element to update for the sound of 2013. Today, I introduce you to Elephante. Hailing from sunny California, Elephate is an EDM producer, specializing in a big room sound. His latest dance floor hit, “Pretty Lights” comes complete with a stomach-thumping bass-line and jabbing synths. The deep vocals from Rohan Kymal really round off the track and make for a fantastic piece of art. This has been out for a little while, but I feel like it deserves a little more love. For those of you who like to stay on a more chill grind but at the same time can’t live without bass, this track is for you. Helsinki-based Elaksi and Edmonton-based Dvnglez teamed up to remix Kanye’s “Flashing Lights,” and it absolutely hits. Definitely worth your time. Grab a free download HERE.

Ill-esha’s remix of R. Kelly’s new song “Genius” is fresh and different. The R&B theme was kept throughout this groovy new take on the track released in September. The vocal chops are outstanding, as is the sultry vibe of the whole song. If I could put this under a “love jam” category, I would. Grab the free download if you’re feelin’ it.

Rudimental have taken the world by storm. Their single “Feel The Love” rose to the top of the charts in the UK and became a worldwide phenomenon. They have not stopped there with a host of other chart topping singles like “Not Giving In” and “Waiting All Night”. Their live show is about as energetic and “live” as there is in dance music, bringing what they call “a carnival atmosphere” to every festival and city they visit. The foursome have come a long way with their album “Home”, showing their strong UK dance influences, while keeping it soulful and unique on every track.
We had the chance to chat with them after their show with Emili Sandé two weeks ago in Central Park and talk about their incredible music videos, trying to build on their success and what they have coming up, including tracks with The Game and Ed Shereen.
