Although LosWas is a Los Angeles native, his musical vibes are out of this world. He dropped a mixtape titled “The Plug Tape.” Never has mixtape boasted such diverse sounds that all come together to form nothing short of a masterpiece. The music blends old school with new school in a creative way that you probably haven’t heard before. It’s certainly impressive, but even more so when you discover he’s 19 and studying music at the University of Southern California. Give the tape a listen and make sure to give LosWas a follow as he has big things coming.

Chill, Electronic, Indie | Cade’s New Single “Care” is a Must Listen
Posted by Juicebox on July 6, 2016
If you haven’t heard of him yet, you’re definitely about to. LA-based songwriter/producer Cade has recently released his new single “Care” off of his forthcoming debut EP, and it’s a good one.
Coming from the swamplands of Tampa, Florida, Cade recently moved to bustling city of Los Angeles to pursue the next big steps in his career. His roommate and close friend Trevor Dahl of Cheat Codes is joining him on this journey, giving Cade a slight helping hand in his debut EP, which is sure to amount to something special if his first single “Care” is any indication. The track opens with percolating beats and high-pitched vocal cuts that evoke a mellow atmosphere, while the glossy synths and pining vocals keep the mood alive.
“‘Care’ is so cool to me because it mixes the emotion of R&B music with the dynamic elements of electronic dance music, creating a fresh sound that can be enjoyed anywhere, anytime.” – Cade

There’s no denying that what Gryffin has accomplished in the last year is impressive. Gryffin was even able to parlay the success of “Heading Home” into two sell-out shows in Los Angeles and New York for his inaugural live performances. Now, with his live show complete and some serious wind in his sails, Gryffin is ready to set off on his “Heading Home” live tour, which will send the talented house maestro to major cities across the US and Canada like San Francisco, Toronto, Washington D.C., and more. Gryffin’s “Heading Home” live tour promises to bring the musicianship and artistry that has come to define his music to a larger-than-life club setting, while still maintaining the energy of a dance set.

Indie | LA’s Andrew Grant Drops “Slow Burn” Single
Posted by BIGLIFE on February 5, 2016
Los Angeles based producer Andrew Grant teams up with fellow Angeleno RKCB on his debut original single “Slow Burn.” The track skates on slowly plucked high notes and ominous synths, the track blooming as RKCB voice slurs, “Been awake too long, tried to break the mold, know this road I’m on, feel it turning cold.” As the melody pushes forward, his whisky-soaked croon dissolves in regret, lifted into the stratosphere by a steady, fog-clearing dance floor beat.

House | Gryffin Delivers His First-Ever Original, “Heading Home,” And It’s Better Than We Ever Imagined

There’s no denying that what Gryffin has accomplished in one year is nothing short of impressive. The gifted musician displays a multi-faceted approach to production, as he brings together elements of indie with dance, all underlined by his dedication to live instruments, which can be seen clearly in his productions and with his live set. The NYC-based producer made his world debut at SnowGlobe this year, where he premiered his live concept for the first time, before taking it on the road to sold-out shows in Los Angeles and New York. Now, just three weeks into 2016, he’s getting ready for another major career milestone – his first original, “Heading Home,” which is out now on Darkroom/Interscope Records. The track features Gryffin’s melody-heavy style, as Josef Salvat’s soaring croons are balanced perfectly with lush piano melodies and a deep, throbbing bass line that gives “Heading Home” an evocative feel.
