Exclusive, Progressive House | Krewella – We Are One (Sevag Area-201 Remix) [FNT Exclusive]
Posted by Middy on November 25, 2013
Krewella are no stranger to remixes, with their first worldwide smash single “Alive” seeing remixes and edits from just every corner of every genre. Their recent album “Get Wet” provides many more opportunities for over-remixing, however this sea of mediocrity allows certain gems from big and small names alike to stand out.
In steps New Jersey native and Mister East resident Sevag, who adds his own on one of the festival friendly selection from Krewella’s album “We Are One”. Sevag keeps festival friendly feel of the original, making sure to highlight Yasmine and Jahan’s vocals, but adds his own percussive flare to give it more bounce. Grab it for free below and check out his socials for more from him.

Chill, Trap | Gladys Knight – Grapevine (Mr. Carmack Remix)
Posted by J-Tiffy on September 16, 2013
Mr. Aaron Carmack seems like a cool dude. I’m a big fan of his music styles and of the way that he (like Deadmau5) has a Soundcloud profile dedicated exclusively to posting his unreleased tracks. On his profile you will find a whole collection of unreleased gems spanning many genres, many of them defying definition. A lot of his songs have trap influences and nuances; this track being one of them. He builds a great chill vibe around the old Gladys Knight original vocals. It’s a soothing tune all the way through, but when the keys come in around the 2 minute mark, you just can’t help but sink back into your chair and relax. He is giving this one away as a free download, so grab it and toss it into the running for songs that start your day or finish your night.

Sexy people, it’s Sunday morning, and I’m about to take you all to church with these two gems by the Canadian production duo WMNSTUDIES with their take on Janet Jackson’s “That’s The Way Love Goes” and a remix by the Satin Jackets of Follow Me’ “Somethin’ Bout You.” The music speaks for itself with this one, you’re going to want to dance, and you’re going to feel this in your soul. Heck, if you want to shout “Hallelujah” let it go, enjoy these records, enjoy your Sunday, and ya’ll stay blessed. These tracks are must listens and must downloads!

Trance | DJ Redwire – Protosphere

Instrumental Trance is incredible in my opinion. Vocals are always nice to have and I do enjoy them, but just having instrumentals leaves so much for your imagination to interpret. Especially on a Progressive Trance track such as this. DJ Redwire has created a few gems that now reside in my music library, this is just another beauty to add to the bunch. Enjoy.

Dubstep, Electronic | Kastle – Stay Forever (Tour VIP Remix)

I can’t recall a time that I ever legitimately considered co-signing an artist 100% until now. Kastle is literally a gem onto himself. Forget about an individual track that stands alone, this man’s entire catalogue is just rinsed with gems. A plentiful quantity that happens to be all quality. I would highly recommend you head over to his Soundcloud and bathe in this absuuurd treasure trove. Can’t believe I slept on Kastle, forgive me.

I dedicate this post to the very few tracks that stand the test of time during this unsatisfied, impatiently needy generation. I’ve come to appreciate my savvy talent for deviating passed oceans of terrible shit in pursuit of gems out in the distance. Its got me following artists that are just off wandering in the realms of experimental sound, clearly inspired by nothing – production at its finest. These tracks below aren’t meant for a club, or any type of gathering, it’s the kind of shit you just vibe to by yourself. No genre, just a sound.
Indie | W8’s Indie Pack #3

Summer is the time to let go and splash your mind full of new and refreshing memories. All you have to worry about is making the best ones possible. That’s not too hard, all we know how to do at the end of the day is have a good time, and summer is just one long weekend set on achieving that. Indie music in summer is like a gorgeous woman on the beach with her over-sized sunglasses, and sand filled flip flops acting as if her bikini isn’t the equivalent of seductive lingerie, it just doesn’t get any better. Spending all day in your bathing suit, and all night looking for it. That is what indie exemplifies for me. So whether you are listening to waves crash up on the beach, having a bonfire with friends, or just soaking up the sun … always remember, that when time disappears and there’s no place you’d rather be … that is when memories are made. I’m simply here to lay out the soundtrack to that experience.
What’s best about indie is that it disqualifies overly drunk idiots from the party. So turn the music up and keep the drama down. My favorite indie compilation thus far. If you need more then be sure to check the previous playlists if you haven’t already done so. I’m good for all these tracks so you need not pass on any.
