Trap | D!RTY AUD!O ft.Nikkimarie – Drop That Ass (Original Mix)

Posted by on September 14, 2012

FNT recurring artist D!RTY AUD!O has released another fun filled trap original this week already featured in UZ’s UKF mix. Although trap has slowly brought the decline of Moombahton (which saddens me), this track has a nice catchy feel to it, but I just can’t put my finger on exactly what it is. You won’t catch me posting too much trap just because I can barely stand it with all the influx of it, but this one was able to make it to my favorites so download and enjoy.

Chill, Hip-Hop | Jetpack Jones – Superficial (Prod. By Handbook)

Posted by on September 9, 2012

FNT favorite, Jetpack Jones, drops off his realest song to date in my humble opinion. Taking on the superficialness of the world, Jetpack does it in a creative, unique, and effortless way. The beat was crafted by UK native Handbook, and couldn’t do a better job of setting the tone for the song. The artwork, done by Eustace Francis, is elegant and beautiful, not being superficial…it’s actually really cool. Superficial is the first single off Jetpack’s upcoming FREE project, Jetpack Odyssey. Like his facebook page below, and chill out to this track on the first NFL Sunday while enjoying a nice adult drink.

Dubstep | Tritonal – Still With Me Ft. Cristina Soto (Seven Lions Remix)

Posted by on September 3, 2012

Seven Lions will always be one of FNT’s favorite Melodic Dubstep producers. Since being discovered about a year ago, Seven Lions has brought incredible emotion to the Dubstep community. He has taken the charts by storm, bringing tears to the eyes of even the most seasoned Melodic Dubstep veterans. He just has a great feel for the music he produces, gaining tons of fans on a daily basis. This newest release from Seven Lions is one of the most beautiful he has ever created. My own eyes even watered to the amazing emotions he has fortified in this remix. If you don’t know who Seven Lions is yet…what is wrong with you!

Alternative, Indie, Videos | Connor Zwetsch – The Little Things (Video)

Posted by on August 25, 2012

FNT’s own Connor Zwetsch hits us with her newest video offering. I have a little bias when I say this, because Connor is from my hometown, and is a close friend, but I think she has one of the best, most unique voices out right now. Her covers are insane, while her original stuff always has hard hitting lyrics, and smooth instrumentals played by Connor herself. She has a single releasing soon, with an EP to follow. Make sure you like her facebook page below to stay updated, but if you’re too lazy to do that, have no fear, FNT will always get you the scoop.

Abstract Hip-Hop, Featured | Featured Artist: Prof.Logik

Posted by on August 23, 2012

Abstract Hip-Hop isn’t anything new to FNT, but is still an underrated and misunderstood sub-genre of Hip-Hop. The chatbox legend and close friend, W8, actually introduced me to Prof.Logik about a year ago. Since then, I have experienced  amazing instrumentals from his productions. Prof.Logik is 27 years old and was born and raised in Jamaica Queens, New York. He currently lives in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where he feels his music has absorbed southern influences. Those familiar with Abstract Hip-Hop know producers such as MF Doom or Flying Lotus, and would agree that each artist has a very distinct style they run with. Prof.Logik has a very euphoric/indie sound to his works, music that you can just relax and float to. The three tracks below have all released within this past month, “12-Bit Crush On you” having been released today. His Soundcloud is jam packed with free downloads, so if you are digging his vibes, don’t be shy and show Prof.Logik some love.

Dubstep | R Rated #43

Posted by on August 22, 2012

Man do we have a packed R Rated this week. So many quality tunes to unleash on you guys that it has had us excited all day! We have all kinds of tracks so lets begin with the first pick, Figure. Let me start by saying, HOLY SH**! We haven’t known Figure to ever dissapoint, and that streak continues. This tune is next level on all kinds of nasty and is epic enough to melt your brain with some supersonic brainwaves.

Next up we switch gears to a darker tune by Skywalkerr. Yes, here on R Rated we love the heavy filthy tunes, but we also enjoy the deep, heavy dark ones as well. Skywalkerr shows promise in this track with some glimpses of early Cookie Monsta and even a little bit of Bassnectar. Everyone keep an eye out for this Californian by following him on Facebook HERE and shout outs to WhompTexas for the find.

This next one by Truth is also another deep tune, but with a little more nasty dabbled on top. Using some aggressive distorted wobbles to accompany the bass and deep sounds, this album looks very promising

I’m not going to lie, I was a fan of the original of this remix at one point in time, but hearing this remix sparked my interest in the track again. Vital Technique and Mikey B outdid themselves on this fun remix, giving it a little bit of Datsik flavor to carry the vocals through.

This next one is by Texas native, Treg. Shout outs to WhompTexas again for showing me two absolute bangers in one day! This one isn’t anything like what we heard earlier from Skywalkerr, but 10 times heavier. At first we were only going to preview the song, but we were able to get the exclusive hook-up on this one for the FNT fans, but I need everyone to go follow him on Soundcloud and like his Facebook page HERE.

Bootleg, Electro, Exclusive | Na Palm vs Aoki vs Izzy Azalea – Beat Down (bootleg) [FNT Exclusive] [Apparel Giveaway]

Posted by on August 22, 2012

Na Palm is back with “Beat Down,” the second banger from his highly anticipated upcoming podcast, ElectronicChronic#002 (expected Spetember 17th). This track, an exclusive for FNT fans, features Aoki and Iggy Azalea alongside some nasty Na Palm lyrics. I’ve had “Beat Down” on repeat all day and I can’t get enough of the clever, raunchy rhymes. Iggy Azalea is channeling Nicki Minaj here, and Na Palm takes full advantage of that to make this song a powerful, dirty, sweaty ride. Enjoy.

Big ‘secret’ news after the jump… (Plus another apparel GIVEAWAY)
