After listening to this song on repeat all day, I figured it should be posted. Cream Collective has just been rockin’ lately. “Fall 4 U” by Boston based producer Sevnth Wonder is extremely mellow. If a song could be charming, this one would be. Smooth and sultry bass lines set the tone for the peaceful vocals. This track was originally featured in Complexion’s “Future Beats Show” earlier this month and it got fantastic feedback. Now it’s being released for all of us to download for free!
Bass, Compilation | Bass For Autism Compilation Vol. 1

Bass for Autism consists of two parts. First, an online music festival hosted on Mixify.com. Second is a compilation of tracks from various bass heavy artists to support the cause. Some featured artists are Dodge & Fuski, Barely Alive, Bear Grillz, Subvibe, Fractal, T-Mass, and more. The compilation can be downloaded for free on Facebook, or downloaded for $9.99 on Bandcamp. All of the proceeds go to support autism research at the Organization for Autism Research. The tracks range multiple genres, but all bring the bass. I’ve posted just a few songs below. A great cause and awesome tracks? How can you resist?

Talented singer / DJ / producer / general do it all musician, Henri was featured on German producer Raik’s recent EP “Hold Me”. The title track was a solid, deep effort, but seemed to need a little something extra and in stepped Henri to take the reigns. It is not common for the featured vocalist to remix their own song, but here it works and brilliantly. Fluttering plucks accompany a soft bass line and chords, all held together by the hypnotic vocals from Henri. The leader of the NWLA movement, short for New Louisiana, Joe FnKoo just dropped unreleased visuals for “Don’t Mind Me” off his mixtape Drivers Ed to let you know he’s going to be down at SXSW in March mobbing with his peoples. Having been featured on MTV for his thought provoking video “I Wanna Sell Drugs” and opened up for the likes of Big Krit, Curren$y, Elzhi, and Skyzoo, don’t sleep on Cooly! If you consider yourself a hip-hop head, get familiar, you’re going to be hearing a lot from the Louisiana MC very soon! This is a must listen!

GoldLink is really pressing his luck with his most recent release entitled, “The Heart”. Anyone with a halfway decent taste in music knows that Kendrick Lamar absolutely annihilated this beat on his mixtape Overly Dedicated a few years back. That being said, GoldLink absolutely held his own, and spit some introspective bars that give us a much better idea of the street life and family struggles that he was going through.
Although “The Heart” will not be featured on GoldLink’s upcoming project The God Complex it will surely keep us on our knees begging for more. Enjoy.

One day away from Christmas, and still 7 more days to go before the new year, so unless a banging track comes out within that time frame, these tracks stand. Obviously a lot of great music came out this year, and 10 records is too little to reflect the quality of sound that was released.
Beginning my contribution this year at FNT, I have found many tunes by known and unknown artists/producers that have captured my ears, and I’d like to dedicate this list to them. Although their name might not show up here, know that by being featured on a post alone, you’re on my ever expanding list. Music is infinity, and everyday hundreds to thousands of tracks are released that you will most likely never hear, but don’t limit yourself, keep an open mind, and be honest with your ears and your feelings! The young duo, Louis The Child, most recently featured as #11 on Dubstep.net’s “Top 14 Artists Primed For A Break Out Year”, also just released their debut EP this month “Dimensions”. “Dimensions” has become a huge success, especially with their lead track “Ember”. Today they give away their Electro-House remix to Milk N Cookies’ “Mastodon”, and it is nothing short of one of the most vibing dance tunes. This is definitely a feel great and dance all night sort of remix.
