Kasbo can just do no wrong. The 19-year-old Swedish sensation has been absolutely crushing it in the future bass arena, not only delivering impressive remixes of Vance Joy, Jeremih, amongst others, but also showcasing his tremendous ability in the studio with originals like “Again” and Kaleidoscope.” Last week, the future house flagbearer dropped his debut five track EP, Umbrella Club, and it’s absolutely phenomenal. On his EP, the talented Swede manages to blend his trademark brand of future with elements from trap to create a range of tunes from dance floor heaters to downtempo chill out tracks. Hung over Friday, last night was mad real, sunglasses and Advil, and I just want to chill out, and get through this day, so thank you Filthy Romeo for the vibes remixing Gil Scott Heron’s “Song Of The Wind.” There are some records that you listen to, and all you can say to yourself is “man it feels good to be a gangster,” and let me know if you guys hear it too, but I could hear 50 Cent hopping on this track on some throwback “Get Rich Or Die Tryin'”feel. Props Filthy Romeo, this is a must listen and a must download!

Hip-Hop, Rap, Videos | Wiz Khalifa | DayToday | Australia | Episode 3
Posted by yabishcic on February 8, 2014
Though some have criticized Wiz Khalifa for being repetitive with his lyricism and unprogressive with his albums, he has still found a way to become one of the biggest, most recognizable artists in the world. His ‘DayToday’ show series, which gives you a look in on Wiz’s everyday activities, allows fans to feel more connected with the artist and his music while he still gets to goof off and have shit tons of fun. In this third episode of the Australian tour, Taylor Gang leaves smoke trails all over the coast, and even A$AP Rocky can’t resist asking Wiz for a little bit to chill out after a show. With more scenes and more footage this time around, there’s plenty of new material to enjoy with lots of funny moments along the way.

This incredibly chill track by MY†H was a pleasure to stumble upon this evening. The dreamy beats take your mind on a journey. It’s a perfect Thursday night chill out song. Trap like this could become incredibly boring if not produced well, but MY†H put out a really refined piece here. This track is unfortunately just a preview, but be sure to pick up their EP, Summerboys93 when it drops on July 29th to Trapdoor Records!

Electronic, Trap | King Henry – Dayman (Demo)
Posted by mimada on May 22, 2013
Well, top of the morning to all you champions of the sun out there on this fine Wednesday. My late night prowling led me to discover the sexy sounds of the revered King Henry and I’d be delighted to share my findings with you. This LA-based producer takes on current trends in music and turns them completely inside out in this awesome, enriching and totally satisfying manner. It’s a little trillwave mixed with trap and bouncin’ beats, one song he even identifies as “comic trap.” It’s the kind of stuff you can put on at parties to intrigue//impress all your friends, or just chill out and listen to in the comfort of your own bed. It’s versatile, it’s groovy, and it’s rad. I pulled a couple songs that might lure you in, Dayman in particular being my favorite. If you think it’s good, just wait till the final drop at the end of the song and then you’ll realize this King Henry isn’t jousting — er, joking around.
Check out King Henry on Soundcloud and social media for more, and you can download his first album at a name-your-price cost from Bandcamp.
