Hip-Hop, Videos | The Game – Martians Vs. Goblins (Ft. Tyler, The Creator & Lil Wayne) Music Video
Posted by Mach on December 21, 2011
The track officially dropped on The Games R.E.D. Album this summer, Tyler, The Creator killed it on this track. One of my most overplayed tracks on my iTunes this summer. The Game uses Hodgy Beats same contacts for his eyes, trying to add more effect to the insanity vibe of the video. I’m really hoping this gets Tyler, The Creator’s and Odd Future’s names out a bit more. #GOLF WANG

Hip-Hop, Pop | Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry ft. B.o.B.
Posted by Grubeats on December 20, 2011
Nicki let’s the dog out of the cage on her newest single off her sophomore album, Roman Reloaded, set for a February 14th release. Amidst switching lanes between her multiple alter ego’s, she practices what has become her signature strung out sound, recycling her “…ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuld” as she first quoted in Big Sean’s “A$$” Remix. The album is already shaping up to be as good as the first with rumored features from Wayne, Mary J. Blige, Birdman, Ricky Martin, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears.
P.S. Nicki Minaj definitely takes the cake for dirtiest lines of 2011. Despite that, will we see her performing alongside Madonna at the Superbowl next year? Listen for a short line that might suggest just that.

Katy Perry has seen unprecedented success since the release of her second studio album, Teenage Dream, garnering 5 record breaking singles while she now aims for a sixth with Bobby Ray. B.o.B. takes us off the blocks and caps off the end of the track with another short verse. If I had to guess, I’d say this track hits Top 40 on the radio charts as well.
Hip-Hop | Rocky Diamonds ft. Mac Miller – Right Now
Posted by LoffyG on December 7, 2011
Minnesota native Rocky Diamonds teams up with Mac Miller to deliver this new joint, Right Now. I was surprised to see that Mac is teaming up with underground artists still. Although he dropped a studio album he still hasn’t forgot where he came from and how he did it. I have mad respect for that. Check out the track and the newest installation of Fun Is 4 Everyone (Europe Part 1).

Hip-Hop, Videos | Timeflies – Switchblade (Video)

Timeflies are flyin high after their national television debut this weekend at the conclusion of the Wisconsin/Michigan St. Big 10 title game. If that wasn’t enough excitement for you, then never fear because Timeflies just released the official music video for Switchblade off of their debut album The Scotch Tape. If you haven’t checked out the album yet, it is available on iTunes here.
Hip-Hop | Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa & Snoop Dogg ft. Juicy J
Posted by Grubeats on December 6, 2011
Just around this time last year Nicki Minaj really broke into the scene and abruptly took over the billboard charts. Now one of the hottest artists in the game, the raunchy rap lady brings us presumably the first single off his sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, due out February 14th. Exercising several of her alter egos on this track (Nicki, Barbie, Roman, Martha and Rosa), Nicki makes it clear that Roman is leading the charge into the next album. Overall, I’m not overly impressed with this track, but it’s definitely raw Roman and I’m hoping it grows on me.
P.S. If you didn’t see Bizarre’s tribute to Nicki on our Facebook page, check that out here if you’re looking for a guaranteed laugh.

Mac and Devin unleash another dirty cut off their upcoming soundtrack to their movie, Mac & Dev Go To High School. I gave you an update on the album late last week which you can read up on HERE, but this track will definitely be one of the top tracks on the project. For those of you who weren’t already aware, Juicy J is the newest signee to Wiz’s label, Taylor Gang.
Videos | Kenton Dunson – Live in Baltimore 11/11/11 (Video)
Posted by Jess on December 2, 2011
Kenton Dunson just released a new webisode detailing his latest show in Baltimore at The 8×10. I actually flew out to see it and was glad I did. e-dubble opened for KD and put on a great set. Kenton came on afterward with his full band and DJ Amen Ra and absolutely killed it. You can catch a glimpse of what went down in the video. If you have yet to do so, you can download his Creative Destruction 2 album here. Expect the first single off his upcoming project dropping in the very near future, count on it.
