Posted by VMan on March 31, 2015
The Chainsmokers released their single ‘Let You Go’ about one month ago and has picked up some great traction since then. This also happens to be their first single that doesn’t reference pop culture so we’re definitely excited to see them going in this fresh direction. They recently went live with their official music video for the song and it filled with some great surprises. I’m not one to spoil a good ending so you’ll have to see it for yourself!

Since their arrival on late 2013, Academy has absolutely amazed with each single, but the one thing never received regularly were visuals. In January the duo unleashed their first set of visuals for their single We Ain’t Never and today the duo teamed up with director Kris Roller to drop one of the more creative music videos we have seen in quite some time for their single Hold Me Down.

CJ Holland, a 21-year-old with a voice like silk and a classy style, is a name to know if you pride yourself on staying ahead of the blog curve. He’s clearly developed himself in the vein of pop darlings like JT and Bruno, and has been working on his debut album with the likes of Pharrell, Ne-Yo, and even Quincy Jones.
Recently, he’s performed a series of covers (“Uptown Funk, “I’m Not the Only One,” and “Thinking Out Loud”) that have continued to impress and showcase his range. This week he’s added a bit more of an inventive touch to his cover of “Tuesday,” as producer One Love (of Kinetics & One Love fame, primarily) provides an immersive, trap-infused interpolation of the beat, and CJ rewrites the verses, making them successfully his own while still retaining the original’s staccato flow and melodic touch.

If you follow Pierce on socials or watch his videos you would have seen him noodle around on his guitars, talkboxes or other devices. He has decided to show off some of those skills in a new video where he performs his latest single “Kuaga” live on various drum machines and the guitar, equipped with some lightsabers in the background and some dramatic slo-mo to make strumming the guitar just that much more epic. Watch it above.
