Hailing from the fishing village of Húsavík, Iceland, Axel Flovent could be the discovery of the year, with a sound reminiscent if Coldplay wrote a song with Passenger. “Your Ghost” is his latest release on Epic Amsterdam, a hauntingly beautiful modern folk record which have you zen for the rest of the day. It’s Friday, it’s been a long week, press play, and let yourself be taken away by a man from an Icelandic village, and his guitar.

Chill, Electronic, Indie | Cade’s New Single “Care” is a Must Listen
Posted by Juicebox on July 6, 2016
If you haven’t heard of him yet, you’re definitely about to. LA-based songwriter/producer Cade has recently released his new single “Care” off of his forthcoming debut EP, and it’s a good one.
Coming from the swamplands of Tampa, Florida, Cade recently moved to bustling city of Los Angeles to pursue the next big steps in his career. His roommate and close friend Trevor Dahl of Cheat Codes is joining him on this journey, giving Cade a slight helping hand in his debut EP, which is sure to amount to something special if his first single “Care” is any indication. The track opens with percolating beats and high-pitched vocal cuts that evoke a mellow atmosphere, while the glossy synths and pining vocals keep the mood alive.
“‘Care’ is so cool to me because it mixes the emotion of R&B music with the dynamic elements of electronic dance music, creating a fresh sound that can be enjoyed anywhere, anytime.” – Cade

I was discovering tunes on this new platform, Fanburst, and there are some absolute jams on here. I ran into this new song, and it is absolutely summer hanging at its finest. I think this sounds like a modern jam band, with cool summer Brooklyn vibes. Songwriting is on point and I love the melodies!

Electro-House, Electronic, Indie, Mainstream Remix | Electronic, Remix |Wheathin Drops Festival Ready Remix of Elohim’s “Sensations”
Posted by VMan on May 17, 2016
If you’re not a fan of Wheathin already, allow me to convert you. Remember the Elohim track “Sensations” that dropped about a month ago? Well he just released a remix of it, and it’s even catchier than the original.
He leaves the verse relatively untouched, allowing Elohim’s vocals to carry you through the musical backdrop. With rhythmic hand claps and an epic synth-laden drop, this track is both chilled and dance-worthy. The 17-year-old producer has been crafting an impressive array of tracks lately, including remixes of Louis The Child, Ty Dolla $ign, and a collaborative remix with Next Wave artist Bearson.
It seems his forte is taking unexpected indie and pop tracks and painting them with his metaphoric electronic brush. On this one, he turns Elohim’s mysterious and sensual release and turns it into a huge, festival ready banger. Check out the rest of his music on SoundCloud and grab a limited free download while you can.
