Deep House, House, Trap, Twerk | Apashe Takes On The Backstreet Boys With New Remix
Posted by VMan on June 22, 2015
It’s not often you see someone remixing Backstreet Boys, but it does happen. “Everybody,” the group’s 1997 single, was recently remixed by our friend Apashe, and the Australian’s Oski and Lennon. All the millenials out there are going to go bananas, like I did when I first heard this track. The three producer’s show off their diversity by dipping into two styles that you wouldn’t think go together. It just goes to show how talented and creative these producers are. Check out the single, and make sure to grab the free download if you are digging the crossover insanity!

Electro | EC Twins Reveal New Singles, New Label, & ‘No Apologies’ Tour
Posted by VMan on June 17, 2015
EC Twins were born in England but are now Las Vegas-based house DJs with their very own residency at LiFE Nightclub. The two have a pretty serious catalog of releases to their name. Having produced dozens of tracks with many well known artists within the house music scene.
They’ve recently announced a new tour, dropped 2 new tracks, and are teasing a new label, Twin Turbo Recordings, set to come out soon. The two tracks “Won’t Let You Down” and “Number One,” have warm, powerful electro house themes within them. But both tunes seem to capture the moment much more than their previous tracks – it’s excellent to see the twins aren’t afraid to step out of their comfort zone.
Currently, the twin duo are on tour, playing at a large handful of venues are the United States, from Texas to California, and much more. Marc and Allister have even managed to put together a label in between the busyness listed above.
They’ve announced they will be starting their own label, Twin Turbo Recordings. Its’ still up in the air as to who will be on the label, but my guess would be mostly electro-house DJs with the occasional experimental artist.
With this said, EC Twins have no where to go but up, catch them live on tour at one of their many dates, and who knows, you may even seen them climbing the DJMag Top 100 sometime soon.

Dave Edwards is Mr. Fun, everything he seems to add his touch to, turns into instant fun, and his latest remix of Betty Who’s “All Of You” is just that, a feel good Summer anthem that’ll make you feel sexy on the dancefloor! Better yet, if I didn’t know better I’d think this was an original Katy Perry tune – sorry Betty – and Dave Edwards is Sandy V, the Grammy winning producer behind Katy’s “Fireworks,” so great job Dave, this is a TUNE, a must listen and a must download!

Posted by Tay on June 9, 2015
The mysterious producer, With You., has remained nameless and faceless since he made his debut last month with remixes of Beyonce’s “Partition” and Spank Rock’s “Gully.” After briefly surfacing to deliver the two masterful efforts, the cryptic producer has come through once again, but it turns out that With You. is actually a brand new collaborative group featuring Rick Trainor, Jeff Penalva, Noah Schy, Daouda Leonard, and Dave Taylor (Switch, formerly of Major Lazer), and they are ready to deliver their inaugural EP, Speak, on Hypercolour later this month. Last week, BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac premiered the official remix of the EP’s name track, “Speak,” by the UK drum & bass trio, 2 Bad Mice, giving the world its first glimpse at the first original by With You. 2 Bad Mice give the remix their signature drum & bass flair, quickening the pace and turning it into a breakbeat masterpiece. Speak is out on June 29th via Hypercolour.

Hitimpulse did work on Xavier Dunn’s “No Type” cover, going chill trap with it, for a laidback, sip your drink by the pool experience. We came across Xavier with his “Fucking Problem” cover, and with the release of this remix, you know Mr Dunn means business, getting the German producer to remix is no small feat, given the man just landed nearly 20,000,000 plays on his remix of Ed Sheeran’s “Coco,” could Xavier be the land down under’s Ed Sheeran? Sure seems like it! This is a must listen and a must download!
