Finally a solid remix of this classic Love Me Now song by John Legend. We have had a ton of remix submissions of this song but this is one that definitely stood out with its “melodic dubstep” kind of feel. This one will be on repeat.
Chill, Electronic | We’re loving this new Khamsin & LeMarquis Leaving Record
Posted by VMan on November 2, 2016
France-base producer Khamsin has been smashing his productions over the past few months with a distinguishable sound and brand that shines through his illuminating productions and online aesthetic The lead single, of his same-titled EP, “Leaving” is his collaboration with LeMarquis and features the soothing vocals of Saavan. It’s an emotionally charged track built by whirling synths, vocal loops, and fluid bass-line before flowing back into a guitar and vocal dominated track leaving you with a sense of euphoria and nostalgia throughout. We can’t wait to see what’s next for Khamsin as he’s gearing up for his live tour in 2017. Stream “Leaving” below or download here.
Chill, Electronic | Lostboycrow’s new single is an audible delight
Posted by VMan on October 27, 2016
Los Angeles-based Lostboycrow‘s R&B infused vocals are always delightful to hear. His newest track “Stay A Little Longer” takes a more indie pop route and tells the story of “an intimate and familiar relationship that is at the point of being tested to either fall apart in the flames of a short romance, or slowly dance in the burn of resolution.” Emotionally charged and playful at the same time, the catchy melody is sure to stick in your head. Check it out below!
Chill, Electronic | TastyTreat & Kid Lizard Connect w/ Madi & Malcolm Anthony On “U And Me”
Posted by VMan on October 17, 2016
Tastytreat does no wrong. Never sounding the same, the L.A. based duo created by John Smith and Devin Hardy never stick to just one sound or sub-genre and today’s post proves it. Blending together a couple different genres onto “U and Me” it’s like they know exactly what I want to hear! These guys are opening for Getter in L.A. on his What the Frick tour in the coming weeks, so if you’re on the Left Coast don’t miss out on that show, it’ll be too wild. Listen to “U And Me” above now!
Chill | “The Gifted One (Sebastian Wibe Remix)” Is A Rock / Electro-Pop Hybrid You Should Hear
Posted by VMan on October 14, 2016
Mosimann is one of France’s biggest dance music producers, having been featured on a variety of national TV spots around the country (and Europe) as well as being one hell of a showman (Mosimann has also created a custom DJing tabletop that allows his fans to see him DJ during his live sets). His previous release “The Gifted One” was a dope present from the solo producer in 2016. He’s now expand the themes of this original more so with fresh remixes from the likes of Florian Kempers, Sebastian Wibe, Zetyd, and his own person edit of the tune.
It was “The Gifted One (Sebastian Wibe Remix)” that captured my attention today, the single is as if Sum 41 and an electronic pop song had a baby – a startling unique balance of raw boldness and power alongside glistening flowing electronic vocals, the platform for this being provided by Mosimann’s original production and the voice of Uhre. “The Gifted One (Sebastian Wibe Remix)” is not to be missed.
Chill | Egzod, Sinego, & Adara Team Up, Forming Spiritual Chill House Journey “Free”
Posted by VMan on October 12, 2016
Adara is a name that rings a bell, but Egzod and Sinego are two artists relatively new to the scene – now clearly making their mark. The trio of talent have teamed up with Miami Beats, a label who has worked with The Him, Steve Void, and is responsible for millions of plays being delivered to the releases they’ve handled. This time, the release is “Free”, a chill house / deep house hybrid that features tribal, cinematic, and spiritual elements within. Adara’s vocals take the experience to an unique and unforgettable realm, complimenting the theme of the tune with silky smooth excellence.
Adara has worked with artists such as Mitis, Kicks N Licks, K Theory and more, Egzod reached #1 on HypeM with his previous release, and Sinego has a chill-pop vibe that I haven’t quite heard from other up-and-coming artists. “Free” is an awesome fit all-around.
Bass, Chill | DEMUR Shows A Softer Side With “Stairs”
Posted by VMan on October 11, 2016
DEMUR is at it again. With an edgy anarchist feel, the somewhat mysterious DJ/producer has released a new original entitled “Stairs”. The single is one of my favorites, containing some of the most melodic and catchy sounds that he is released yet.
A quick peek at his socials shows that he begun selling posters that resemble his brand, and is also starting a podcast series, the details of the new show is unknown at this point.
One thing I have to give DEMUR major credit for is that he’s actually different and seems like he’s trying to start somewhat of a new sound, props to that, check out DEMUR’s SoundCloud for more insight into his world.
