Lyrically, the single describes the story of a dejected loner going through trauma to come back from the brink of oblivion. “CRIMINAL” centers around a quirky synth arpeggio, which TONNER reveals as somewhat accidental. Medasin began hyping up his album “RIPPLS” last year. Unfortunately the album got pushed back after a few delays. On Friday however, the 14 track record was released for all the world to hear.
RIPPLS is quite easily Medasin’s best work to date. It’s a cohesive collection of music that’s meant to be mixed one song into the next. There are typical wavy instrumentals that Medasin fans know and love as well as vocal records that absolutely smack.
