Electro, Mashups | Aylen – The ReMixtape
Posted by GMONEY on January 20, 2012
After dropping banger after banger on us over the course of 2011, Aylen is starting off 2012 right, with a massive mixtape. Here is what he had to say about it:
The end of 2011 was a very exciting time for me and I’m eager to bring in 2012 the same way I left off. Today, I’m proud to announce the release of my free remix album titled The ReMixtape. At 11 tracks, The ReMixtape includes 7 remixes, 3 mashups and 1 re-fix that span electro, progressive, moombahton, with a hint of dutch.
Here are a few of my favorite tracks, but the whole project is definitely worth a listen.
Download: Alesso – Raise Your Head (Aylen & Xristos Remix)
Download: Jocelyn Enriquez – Do You Miss Me (Aylen Remix)
Download: Lady GaGa x Alesso x Porter Robinson x Dune – Heiress Of Glory (Aylen Mashup)

Videos | Sammy Adams Performs “Blow Up” on Conan
Posted by GMONEY on January 19, 2012
Making his first major television debut last night, Sammy Adams performed his hit single, “Blow Up” off his forthcoming album dropping this spring. While some had concerns over his brief musical lull, the Sony/RCA signee shows no signs of slowing down with his recent “Into The Wild” mixtape serving as an appetizer before the album. Let’s talk about the verse at the end though. And I quote:
“I went from Boston to Cali/went from Cali to Paris/now I’m killing on primetime don’t try to compare us/team Coco or nothing/so shout out to the family/and the audience hear me I got the heat like Miami/Chillin’ on Conan, we roll from Massachusetts/never been on late night but now I’m up on my music/this dude he’s interviewing/this much air it’s just stupid/so I had to come through it’s Conan O’Brian let’s do it/yeah!”
Anyone else would have stuck to the script. Anyone else would have been to scared to go outside the box on their first national television appearance. Just rollin’ like a boss. That’s why we’ll always support and respect Sammy Adams. He’s never afraid to roll the dice. This is why we’ve been preaching the Sammy Adams gospel since day one. As Sam continues his meteoric rise, don’t be surprised to see him at the top of the charts this year. 2012 could be his biggest year yet.

Hip-Hop, Rap | Knowledge Medina – You Don’t Really Care
Posted by GMONEY on January 18, 2012
Rising Southern Florida hip hop artist, Knowledge Medina, releases his latest cut, You Don’t Really Care, off his forthcoming EP. With a soulful sample provided by producer Numonics, Knowledge Medina spits some bars about a relationship he was in where he continually took advantage of his girl.

In this next track, Termanology, spits over this Statik Selektah production which samples Drake’s, Underground Kings, off Take Care.
Videos | Ryan Leslie- 5 Minute Freshen Up
Posted by GMONEY on January 18, 2012
Just like that, the Harvard educated Ryan Leslie is back with another video. Nobody, and I mean nobody touches his video game. Evan Rodgers and his Next Selection staff are always on their game. I’m not easily impressed, and his videos always impress me. Ryan’s visual, “Les Is More” album is on the way!
Hip-Hop | Free The Optimus – What More
Posted by GMONEY on January 18, 2012
Free The Optimus is a hip hop duo that consists of Chris Shreve (the MC) and Shep Bryan (the producer). With an emphasis on lyrical content and dope production, these guys haven’t promoted their music too much since releasing these three tracks so when I saw this submission I was pleasantly surprised. My personal favorite track listed below is Want More, but For Breakfast and Life Goes On will definitely appeal to FNT’s lyrical hip hop fans.
Girl Fire, Pop | Kay- My Name Is Kay
Posted by GMONEY on January 18, 2012
MY NAME IS KAY from Kaymusik on Vimeo.
Last night, I found an Interscope artist by the name of Kay- a Nova-Scotian spoken-rap-slash-singer smokeshow. There’s no other way around it. Total smoke. She’s just like Kesha, but a lot hotter- and with a way better inner-thigh gap. She’s said to be working with Tiesto and Ryan Tedder right now. If that’s the case, I expect the album to be purty strong. Be sure to follow Kay on Facebook and Twitter. This is certified girl fire.
