Videos | Deorro Releases Official Music Video for “Five More Hours”
Posted by Juicebox on May 1, 2015
Deorro’s good time anthem, “Five More Hours”, pays homage to one of his very first releases, “Five Hours.” With vocals by Chris Brown, the blazing dance floor tune accumulated over 48 million streams on Spotify, and over 32 million streams on YouTube in a few months. Now, the latest rendition of Deorro’s biggest hit to date is getting a proper visual treatment. “Five More Hours'” music video depicts Chris Brown’s car breaking down in the desert leaving him stranded. Shortly after, a bus full of party goers on their way to Coachella comes to the rescue and they all make it to the party just in time, where they meet up with Deorro, and tear up the Sahara tent. Stream the music video above and grab the song on iTunes.
Future Trap | Prince Fox prevails once again
Posted by Juicebox on April 29, 2015
Prince Fox has done a great job at making his unique sound heard throughout the blogosphere with his countless impressive remixes and his recent original “Wait Until Tomorrow”. The kid has been killing it as of late. His most recent remix is one of SNBRN’s “Raindrops”, which is an absolute jam with some extremely catchy vocals. Prince Fox takes a more futuristic trap route on this one and the result is killer. It brings such a big sound without sounding cluttered or overwhelming. Cop a listen and you’ll see that Prince Fox can really pack a punch.

Chill | Mike Posner – I Took A Pill In Ibiza

We’ve been supporting Mike Posner since his first release. He’s been off the radar for a bit, but Posner is back after quite some time away and appears to be older and wiser. His genre bending sound continues to captivate hip-hop, rock, country, and indie fans in a way few artists can. I remember when Posner first burst into the scene six years ago making crazy remixes in his dorm room at Duke and featuring tracks with Big Sean. He has been to the top of the world and back and this track showcases a more mature songwriter. While he can still ham it up for Maroon 5 and other pop acts, Posner’s newest acoustic-driven track reminisces on living and growing up after half a decade of fame.

Off the official OWSLA Carmada remix pack comes ‘Dr. Fresch’ with his genre busting remix of “Maybe”.
This progressively gets darker and teases you with what is to come after the drop. After the first breakdown as we approach the bridge; ‘Fresch’ mixes things up and goes into a slow melodic trap beat with 808 snares with a much softer synth. This unexpected beat change from the 4 on the floor house kicks to melodic trap, is the perfect way to gently move you on to another song…that is if you haven’t already hit replay.

By now there’s probably not a single person out there that isn’t familiar with Ariana Grande and Zedds “Break Free”. It was one of those songs that just blows up. Unfortunately you start hearing songs like that everywhere until…R.I.P played to death. While most of these departed tracks slowly fade to the back of the playlist, once in a while one is given a second chance. That is exactly what we are hearing happen here with Kap Slap’s revitalizing edit on the track. This New York City based producer did a lot more than just bringing it back to life though. With a new powerful house beat throughout the song you’re sure to be moving right up until the massive drop Kap Slap added late in the track. If you haven’t heard this one yet do yourself a favor, check it out, and make some room on your weekend playlist because the download is available for free below.

Deep House | EDX Brings Feel-Good Vibes On New Release, “Want You”
Posted by Juicebox on April 16, 2015
Although ever changing, EDX’s sound is truly timeless and always identifiably EDX. Only a few months after his highly successful line of releases skyrocketed on Beatport charts, the ambassador of melodic house returns again with a new original. Titled “Want You”, the new tune is feel-good, dance-ready track that explores a deeper sound that EDX has grown to favor. Released via HK Records, a sub-label of Ministry of Sound, the track has already received massive support by Pete Tong who premiered it on his BBC Radio 1 show earlier this month. Check out “Want You” above and grab your copy on Beatport.
