Remember back when recess was the pinnacle of your childhood school day? Somewhere throughout the years, this fun and carefree attitude has seemed to fall by the wayside with students becoming consumed with school work and the endless search for a secure career upon graduation. Recess has bee reinvented to bring the playground mentality back to life by instilling an entrepreneurial inspiration and excitement back into campus through a music festival featuring your favorite dj’s and musicians. The event will take place at Michigan State University as well as Georgetown University.
At Michigan State University, Recess will take place on April 19th at the Ag Expo and feature DJ Times #1 DJ, Kaskade. Tickets are already on sale, $25 for students and $30 for public. Tickets are limited in availability for Michigan State students, who must show their student ID at the door for entry. In fact, tickets for this revival of recess will sell out fast, so don’t miss out on this reinvention of the festival.
