Today comes a new remix from the talented Etched, along with his debut album Pixelated that is out now. In the midst of a million and one Drake remixes, this one really is an attention grabber. The drums are fantastic and it’s easy to get lost in. The thing that appeals the most to me about this remix, along with Sampha’s lone release of the track is that they don’t contain the high pitched screeching of his voice like on the original with Drake (probably why Sampha released his own version) Listen up!

With so many other DJ personalities to attend to and a blossoming career on the rise, it’s understandable we haven’t seen much from Cashmere Cat recently. However, yesterday this kitty premiered his newest track, “With Me,” via Pitchfork and Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show. It’s everything you love about Cashmere Cat, with the distinctive beats, tambourines, soft piano chords, and those gentle builds that cascade one into the next. But “With Me” feels almost a little bit more intimate and softhearted than some of his previous work. Like a Drake ballad, this is the kind of song that when you listen to it alone, makes you feel like it was created just for you.
And it seems there’s more to look forward to! This song is just a preview of Cashmere’s “Wedding Bells” EP, set to release in January via LuckyMe Records. Fingers crossed the kitty doesn’t get cold feet! =^.^=

Two days ago Huey Mack capped off his second headlining tour, which followed the release of his debut album Pretending Perfection. Over the next 4 months Huey will be releasing free music on Mondays that will consist of remixes and originals. This week he does a medley of two Drake singles, “Too Much and “Furthest Thing”. The only recognizably Drake element in this techy rework is the vocal hook, which ebbs and flows in spacey fashion and generally takes a backseat to everything else going on. Dark, minimal, but unrelenting, this freebie is not one to miss if you fancy yourself to be of the underground persuasion.

Everything Tajan makes is pure sex to the ears in my opinion, and he violates our ears once again with this hot R&B mashup. I’m sure Drake’s name is the eye catcher on this one, but don’t expect to hear him. Keke Wyatt and Avant’s vocals make this track, there is so much emotion to be felt from them as they belt out their undeniable love for eachother that you won’t even miss Drake.
