The Motion

I didn’t see this track coming at all, Jackson Breit surprises us with a quick freebie per usual before his next single. Jackson Breit is always having fun with the music, using creative lyrics, and catchy lines for the fans to enjoy.  We are also expecting a two part EP any time soon. Be on the lookout for Jackson to do big things in 2014.

You might remember me posting a few weeks back “Outland” by Canadian producer Rook Milo, well his camp just us with his remix of Drake’s “The Language” and the drums, bass and old school Daft Punk vocal edit, on the hook, make the record. Going for a darker, smoky vibe, I can hear this remix dropped at the late night after parties for all those who love to vibe out on the dancefloor. Rook also wanted to make sure to shout out his drug dealer for “making this all possible,” so with that said, roll something up, vibe out and press play. This is a must listen and a must download!

Trap | 2 Chainz ft. Drake – No Lie (Andrew Luce Remix)

Fresh off the main stage at Tahoe’s Snowglobe Music Festival, Andrew Luce has just released a bootleg of 2 Chainz’ and Drake’s  “No Lie” as the flagship track of his new weekly installment “Humpday Heaters.” The 16-year-old protégé just won’t stop with the bangers, this time throwing down a fiery set of deep bass modulations over two drops that will leave even your mom wanting to turn up. Overall, big things coming from this kid, so keep an eye out for his Wednesday releases, and even an upcoming collab with the homie Clark Kent; don’t forget to grab a free download and throw him a like and a follow on his social media outlets!

Contrary to what the weather has been telling us out here in California, it is not Summer yet, and so, that means  it is not festival season yet either; however, put on D!rty Aud!o’s new (free) bootleg of Drake’s “Trophies” and you’ll wish it was. Even if you hate to admit it, you know Drake’s lyrics get you going: now add D!rty’s hard 808 kicks & unique sound design, and you’ve got something that will have everyone going absolutely crazy. Doesn’t matter if they’re out in the crowd or the back of your car – they’ll want it louder, guaranteed. Make sure to cop a download below, and show this guy some love.

YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT IT IS.

All the music that I listened to throughout the last 12 months enough to make me sick but somehow didn’t. The fields of music brought a bountiful yield in 2013 which allowed listeners like me to tune into more genres and artists than I could ever imagine. In order to cover all my necessary bases, I’ve drafted quite a comprehensive list (or two) missing prety much only anything Jennifer Lawrence related although if all the things she said this year were songs then they would 100% have made it on my list as well.

So, let the countdown, BEGIN!

Hip-Hop, Playlists | Jeff’s 15 Best Hip-Hop Tracks of 2013

Best-Of---hip-hop---big With the mainstream sound shifting further towards hip-hop (or is it the other way around?) the way it has in 2013, it’s become quite a good climate for rappers. While this year has had its share of successes and rises to fame (see Chance The Rapper, Logic), though, it’s certainly had its share of disappointments. Read on to see my selections as the year’s best work in hip-hop.

Chill, Trap | Drake – Too Much (GXNXVS Remix) (Feat. Sampha)

Posted by on December 3, 2013

I know, I know, you’re sick of seeing remixes of Drake’s songs… But I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that this is probably my favorite Drake remix I’ve ever heard, and that’s saying something considering how many Drake remixes I see a day! This came out a week ago, but I don’t feel that it got the recognition it deserves. The vocals cuts are eerie and the piano is fantastic. Australian artist GXNXVS doesn’t have a lot of Soundcloud support, so go follow him and download this track for free!
