Solo progressive up-and-comer Chris Schambacher, has dished out some tasty progressive-trance that has caught the eye of Above and Beyond members. “Endeavor” is the tune which made it on the air via Group Therapy #160, an achievement many compete for, but few get. “Endeavor” certainly has a good flow. Nothing within either the percussion or synth work sounds generic or default, very original and hypnotic all-around.

Oliver Heldens has been recognized not only for his deep house work under his self-named moniker, but also as his bass alias, HI-LO. His latest track, “Ooh La La” adds techno to his resume with underground bass vibes. A fast percussion beat and driving risers set the stage for HI-LO’s latest track that evolves into a heavy walking bass line and pounding synth melody. Doppler hi-hats ring as the vocal line repeats an “Ooh La La” vocal sample. Although wandering from his expected sound, “”Ooh La La” adds a new vibe to HI-LO’s quickly expanding library.

Wesley commented “I’ve wanted to make my own renditions of John’s solo work for a long time and I couldn’t be happier with how the songs came out. John is an incredibly unique guitar player and has been a huge influence of mine for a long time now.
