Electro-House | Audrio – Dreaming Wide Awake

Posted by on September 6, 2013

Audrio Dreaming Wide AwakeOur flyer guy to watch this year, Audrio, has sparingly had releases this year, mostly as remixes for other tracks on Avicii’s LE7ELS label. He is now given the floor to showcase his ability on the original front, releasing one of his tracks that when you go to his soundcloud, is titled “We’re Still Here”. The track has his acid-electro fusion with some well placed female vocals that give it a soft touch. We are still waiting for “Humans”….still waiting.

Electro | Krewella – We Go Down + Album Preorder

Posted by on August 27, 2013

Free Krewella is always a welcome sight in my mind. Although this isn’t necessarily free, I’ve told myself it is in order to justify my purchasing of their upcoming album. But fear not, for the preordering of their album needs NO justification, because there’s nothing better than Krewella. Seriously. I’ve had the joy of blogging the three knuckleheads since 2011 and they have been a joy to watch. So preorder their album, Get Wet, and you will get We Go Down for free. As for the track itself, it’s filled with classic beautiful Krewella vocals, a snarey build, and a huge drop. Exactly what you all need for your mid week raging festivities. Enjoy, and use it in good health, and thanks to our buddies at This Song is Sick for the sick premier.

Zeds DeadIn a little Throwback Thursday edition of event reviews, we have Electric Adventure, the 2-day festival that took place at Six Flags, in New Jersey over the 3rd and 4th of August. It combined a bass and trap heavy lineup, with some of the premier roller coasters on the eastern seaboard, giving you an experience where your adrenaline was always pumping, unless you were waiting in line for rides. The lineup was well rounded with guys like Dillon Francis, Seven Lions, GTA, 12th Planet and Zeds Dead all performing over the 2 days. Click past the jump for a few photos and some things I learned and saw at the festival.

Hip-Hop, Rap | Devin Miles – Some Shxt II

Posted by on August 18, 2013

devin miles - some shxt

After receiving the nod from Travi$ Scott on his last song, Devin Miles has returned with part two of his “Some Shxt” series. He showcases his silky smooth delivery while spitting some bars off the top of his head. The song surely isn’t supposed to have a crazy concept or powerful message, but what it does do is give a taste of what young Mr. Miles is capable of.

His soulful sound sets him apart and will keep him relevant long after others have teetered off. Enjoy “Some Shxt II” and watch closely as I’m sure there is plenty more to come from this Pittsburgh emcee.
