Quite possibly the only substantial talent coming out of Kansas that I’m aware of, XV continues his recent tear, releasing the visuals for one of his most popular singles off his Zero Heroes mixtape. Although the song itself is a bit dated, XV takes to his roots to show some visual love to his hometown people over the real smooth Just Blaze production. XV linked up with FTS Creative for the video, who you may recognize from their work with The Dean’s List and/or Aziz, as this video once again does not disappoint. If you’ve put off downloading Zero Heroes for the past 6 months or so, I’d advise you to move that mouse and download it here.

Want piano, drums, gospel singing, a little Mike Posner and slamming rap verses. Yes, one please. Bei Maejor’s newest drop “They Call Me” lays down verses with a melange of classic instrumentals intermingling with dope verses. The best part? There is variety, I don’t think I can take another rap song thats just repeat, repeat, repeat. It’s music….not shampoo. Seems rather delayed for a release off his previous album, MOTM2, which dropped a mere 10 months ago, but I’ll take visuals for classic Cudi over his new ear piercing approach at wizardry (“Perfect Is The World”). Scott takes to his actor’s side (How To Make It In America) and mashes it with his history of violence (Wallet-fan-punch & Fan Fight) for a deep video directed by Surface to Air, where he withstands the beating of the legendary Mr. Rager, until he meets his counterpart for an unpleasant ending. Whether or not the timing of this release was directed toward fellow Cleveland-er, MGK, who responded to Cudi’s tweets regarding his use of the word “rage” and “rager” is unknown, but we do know the waters still appear to be unsettled.
Expect an album coming by year’s end from Cudi’s group, “2 Be Continuum”, along with a single or two off Man On The Moon III.

When it rain’s it pours. Here’s another new video from The Knux which features Kid Cudi on their hit single, “Run”. Since there is some nice boobage I’d mark this one NSFW, but if you’re at work, don’t sleep on this one when you get home cause it’s one hell of a track and video. Keep an eye out for The Knux’s sophomore album, “Eraser” dropping September 27th.

Delaware Hip-Hop Group Cypher Clique drops sonme visuals to their super smooth track entitled Got My Vans. I really like these guys because they have a really grass roots hip hop feel, just a dope beat, clever rhymes and a raw sound. This latest drop is the just one of many videos they have dropped for tracks off of their recent mixtape, The Show.

Boston based rapper, Jacob Es, released his EP Stoned Poets Society, back in March(based on the title, I’m sure you can guess the exact date) to much acclaim here at FNT. He recently dropped some visuals to one of the favorite tracks off the EP Pumped Up Kicks.
