There’s no denying that what Gryffin has accomplished in the last year is impressive. The NYC-based multi-instrumentalist was the man behind some of the year’s biggest remixes with his uplifting and anthemic takes on Tove Lo, Maroon 5, BANKS, and more, before he capped the year with the release of his “Heading Home,” his debut original production. Gryffin was even able to parlay the success of “Heading Home” into two sell-out shows in Los Angeles and New York for his inaugural live performances. Now, with his live show complete and some serious wind in his sails, Gryffin is ready to set off on his “Heading Home” live tour, which will send the talented house maestro to major cities across the US and Canada like San Francisco, Toronto, Washington D.C., and more. Gryffin’s “Heading Home” live tour promises to bring the musicianship and artistry that has come to define his music to a larger-than-life club setting, while still maintaining the energy of a dance set.

We’ve been huge fans of Felix Jaehn ever since we first came across his music last year. He’s primed to become one of the breakout stars of this year’s festival circuit, as he looks to bring his melody-rich style of house music around the world. While he hasn’t released a new track in a while, the German youngster has kicked off the year with a new, self-titled EP featuring three old Felix tracks, and two brand new remixes by his fellow Casablanca Records artists, Prince Fox and Phantoms. The NYC-based DJ / producer, Prince Fox, takes “Ain’t Nobody” and turns it on its head, layering quirky percussions and bubbly bass accents for a dope future bass re-imagination. Phantoms, on the other hand, takes “Book of Love” in a different direction, keeping the soothing melodies and uplifting vibe of the original and infusing it with jazz-y undertones and airy vocal effects. Listen to both remixes below, and get your copy of the EP here.

Celia Babibi reminds us of early Kaskade days featuring the amazing Hayley. Needless to say if Aiden keep these types of productions coming our way, he’ll have a bright future ahead.

After releasing a sensational debut “Skinny Love” remix, future R&B producer JR Nelson has remained quiet over the past few months fueling up for a winter storm of new material. Tackling Andra Day’s slow and soulful “Rise Up”, JR Nelson remixes her piano-based acoustic sound to bump with his avant-garde pop-style. Nelson fires rolling snare kicks under vibrant synths and swallows Day’s gorgeous tones in an explosion of effervescent horns. Opening the gates to a flood of new music, JR Nelson’s “Rise Up” remix is a refreshing and uplifting play on the future of R&B and pop music.
