Electro, Trap | Snakehips – Make It
Posted by mimada on June 10, 2013
Snakehips dropped this track yesterday to “tie us over” as they continue working in the studio on their next single. If this what they scrounged up just to keep us busy then I don’t think my body is ready for what they’re about to release. Guess I’ll just have to get out all my excitement by bumpin’ along to this bad boy (shouldn’t be too hard). I wasn’t sure how to go about describing this to the virgin ear, so after perusing through the comments a little bit I pulled some helpful hints — “massive,” “outer space realness,” and my favorite, “dip swang.” So don’t be fooled by the gentle intro, this song will knock you OUT.
Check it.

Disclosure’s album “Settle” is finally going to be released on Monday, and the latest single previewed from the album “When A Fire Starts To Burn”, now has its music video to match the track. The album comes this monday, so pre-order it here, and until then watch this video from the increasingly popular UK garage brother duo.
Progressive House | Monsta – Messiah (Dirty South Remix)
Posted by Middy on April 28, 2013
Having been previewed a few weeks ago, Dirty South releases his remix for UK trio Monsta‘s single “Messiah”. The mighty Australian, Dirty South is still riding high in 2013 with the release of his debut artist album “Speed of Life” and looks to continue that dominance with this remix. While the previously released Alvin Risk remix and the upcoming Feed Me remix will be more favorable for more bass heavy palates, Dirty South brings his uplifting style to the track, giving it a whole sound.
Dirty South brings us back with this remix, recalling his sound found in the 2008-2010 with tracks like his remixes of “Sorry” and “Sweet Disposition” and his single “Phazing“. The addictive, piano driven melody meshes perfectly with the soulful vocals, as Dirty South shows us once again that he one of premier producers around.

Hip-Hop | Foreign Beggars Ft. Skinnyman & DVS – Hold On (Maksim Edition)
Posted by Mach on March 28, 2013
Miksim is one of the hottest MCs in the UK, spitting over Hip-Hop, Grime, and even Dubstep and its many sub-genres. He has done a lot of work with great producers such as Culprate, Document One, Quartus Saul, and many others. This is a great track for him to have picked to rap over. Foreign Beggars have always had verse friendly beats that have been successfully redone by many. Maksim comes in like boss, spitting a flow flawlessly to the kicks and snare. Definitely on of my favorites of his now.

Uk producer Jacob Plant brings his brand of heavy electro & dubstep to Calvin Harris led Fly Eye Records. Departing from the last release on Fly Eye from Thomas Gold “Miao“, “Shakedown” serves as an outstanding jump off track to 2013 for both the label and the artist. With quick progressing builds, gritty drops and well placed electro growls, this phenomenal, high powered track is sure to be a quick burst of energy in any set it is played in.
