Alternative | Cristina Soto Revists Her Tritonal Collab, “Lifted,” with Acoustic Mix

Posted by on April 29, 2021

In 2020, singer-songwriter Cristina Soto revisited her breakout hit with electronic power-duo Tritonal, “Still With Me,” and her Illenium and Said The Sky collaboration, “Painted White,” with acoustic mixes. As Soto’s hit classic with Tritonal, “Lifted,” approaches its tenth birthday this year, she continues her hot streak by returning with a new acoustic rendering. The indie / acoustic infused take on the original is a very different vibe but I am still really into it. The mellow soundscape is blissful and feels like a sunny afternoon in Spring, and as I write this it’s exactly that so it’s a perfect fit. Enjoy it now above!

Alternative, Chill | Cristina Soto Revisits Seven Lions’s Remix of Her + Tritonal’s Breakout Hit “Still With Me”

Posted by on June 30, 2020

Cristina Soto was the original vocalist for power-duo Tritonal. Outside of her killer joint discography with Tritonal, Cristina has collaborated with artists such as CloZee, Illenium, Said The Sky, and Psymbionic. Her “One Thing” collab with Psymbionic went big on Bassnectar‘s “Into The Sun” mixtape, where Bassnectar remixed the track. This acoustic mix pulls from the driving remix vibes of the original Seven Lions while taking on its very own shape through the open and epic guitars played by Cristina’s brother, Rob Soto. Strings from Haydn Vitera and bass from Omar Vallejo (two Austin music legends) breathe new life into a classic approaching its 10-year release anniversary. This one had the perfect vibe for me today, tune in above now and if you have not already be sure to check out the original!

Get ready for some Big Room FUNK! Jenaux’s remix to “Age of Innocence” by Elephante is one of the best tracks we’ve heard from the NYC producer. Having received a great deal of support on his new style via his remixes of Kygo and Tritonal tracks, the newest offering by Jenaux uses a masterful combination of vocal chops, funky lead synths, and some groovy percussion. When speaking about this new “Big Room Funk” style, Jenaux says, “it’s really just the start.” We can’t wait to see whats coming up, but for now, check out the track above and get ready to start dancing wherever you may be!

Tritonal & Paris Blohm - Colors (Leeo & Cignature Remix)

Happy Memorial Day Weekend to you all. If you are heading out to EDC NY, hit me up and we can go shuffle at the Hard Stage. Before you do that though, I’ve got another huge remix from the dude Cignature. We first introduced you to him with his remix of Muse “Starlight” and you all were clamoring for more, so here is his remix alongside 17 year old Swedish producer Leeo for Tritonal & Paris Blohm’s smash single “Colors”. I am a huge fan of the original, but they may have gone even bigger and better with this one, keeping the soaring vocals from Sterling Fox and then adding their own anthemic melody to breath new life into the tune. It is a free download, so make sure you grab it now.
