We all are experiencing the new chill electronic movement that has taken place significantly in the last year or two. Lots of new genres are unfolding and fusing. One label who has found an equilibrium in the chill house realm is Into the Wild Records. “Summer Time Love (Nick Peters Remix)” proves again they are on target.
They are only 2 records in, but you can already tell their curation methods take the best from some of fans favorite chill house genres. Leading down a path of great music and success.

You heard me right. What’s the deal with bragging about DJ support? I’ve know you’ve seen it… “SUPPORTED BY” in those terrible press releases. Perhaps the most hilarious offender is Spinnin’ Records. I’m sure this will ruffle their feathers, but no one is above reproach on this site. Take a gander at the description section on their Youtube page. They always include “DJ feedback”. This is the worst.
DJ-Set | Kap Slap – SnowGlobe 2013 Set

SnowGlobe was one for the books, there is no doubt about that. As expected, Tiesto crushed the first night, Kaskade did his thing the second, and Cut Copy brought in the New Year with a vibrant live set. What was unexpected was what happened when Kap Slap took the stage. His set was on the second stage, earlier in the night (5:15 PM), and was competing with the legendary hip hop group Zion I on the main stage. Regardless of the circumstances, come 5:45 PM, the Sierra tent was at capacity with every festival goer dancing their hearts out. Kap Slap kept the entire tent jumping, dancing, & singing for an entire hour and fifteen minutes. The highlight of his set was when he debuted his first original production which left the crowd with their hands in the air and ears asking for more. The transitions were flawless, his stage energy was unmatched, and he closed out his performance with one of his signature stage dives. It’s always exciting to see an artist that we’ve supported since day 1 to make it. Everyone’s definition of making it always varies, mine usually falls under crafting the official remix for the #1 DJ in the world, which Clinton VanSciver just did. The kid still has a ways to go, but making an official remix for Armin van Buuren this early in his career is unbelievable and definitely raises a big red flag that says, “start listening to this kid’s music” in all caps.
