Recently we were treated to a great new track called ‘White Shadows & Grey Noise’ by a trio out of Melbourne who go by the name Passerine, and this week they have returned with two very impressive remixes by two very talented artists, OK Sure and Super Magic Hats. Both friends of Passerine, the two remixes vary in style but feature plenty of groovy synths, powerful drums, and make use of the beautiful vocals from the original. The remixes are definitely worth checking out, and are a great addition to your library as be round off summer and enter the cooler autumn months.
Albums, Hip-Hop, Rap | Atlanta Native, Kelechi, Drops Debut Album “Before The Quarter”
Posted by Grubeats on May 27, 2016
Sometimes you hear an artist and are 7-seconds into the first song, you’re on to the next. Sometimes you hear an artist for the first time and are instantly drawn in. Whether it be the beat, their flow, the lyrics or the message, sometimes you just get that feeling you found something special. A few years back I stumbled across STNDRD, a hip-hop duo out of Hotlanta. Kelechi & Phay, two very talented artists were the talent behind the label. They were clearly motivated (as I quickly confirmed after seeing and hearing “We Want It All“). They were cultured and proud of their diverse backgrounds. They were confident, fun, and full of energy. Most importantly, they could RAP.
Fast forward 2 1/2 years, both artists are still representing STNDRD, but pursuing parallel solo careers. Kelechi was the recipient of $50k after being recognized as the winner of Green Label Sound’s “Open Call” contest. Identified as one of the next talents on the brink of explosion, Kelechief invested that nickel lump right back into his debut album, Before The Quarter. Making valuable industry connections and cosigns along the way, Kelechi has been earning his key and building bridges along the way. “Before the Quarter” is Kelechi’s breakout. 10 tracks, from raw to delicate, Chief flexes appropriately, but never lacks a message. Enjoy the album stream and cop your own copy on iTunes if those first 7-seconds hit you like they hit me.
News | Dash Berlin Announces “Here Tonight” Collaboration
Posted by BIGLIFE on June 6, 2014
We’d heard rumblings about this track for months. Just moments ago, Dash Berlin and Jay Cosmic revealed the title of the Armada hosted track that had everyone talking at ASOT 650. “Here Tonight” features Collin McLoughlin, who’s perhaps one of the most talented artists in the “EDM” landscape.
There’s good reason why Dash Berlin and his #dashers are excited about this track, as we predict it could be a summer anthem. When does it release? Is it off the new album? We don’t have all the details yet, but we’ll keep you updated as we learn more about this very massive tune.
Progressive House | Third Party – Everyday Of My Life
Posted by Mel on May 27, 2014
Third Party are perhaps the most melodically talented artists at Size and they never disappoint with their productions, except for the fact that they don’t release enough of them. It has not been long since their impressive “Nobody To Love” remix and they have followed it up superbly. “Everyday Of My Life” is, not surprisingly, a melody driven song. It upholds the high quality of both the duos tracks as well as the releases on Size.

Hip-Hop | Hendersin “Detour” | HIP-HOP
Posted by BIGLIFE on January 30, 2011
“Detour is Hendersin’s 2nd proclaimed mixtape. It comes from a trilogy of records dictating the story of small town artist on the rise. To date, Detour is by far the best example of Hensersin’s talent, boasting seven self produced tracks and a cohesive nature. Each track brings something to the table allowing ears of all music to unite. Hendersin features four talented artists: Serge Didenko, Mike Stud, Collin McLoughlin, and Brian Stokes who mesh well with the direction of the record. If you need a reason to get interested listen to “One Of A Kind,” “Watch Me Now,” or “On My Way.” The remaining tracks bode nothing less. In an oversaturated market, Detour seeks to create a niche by inspiring those who are driven to stand out.”
