A few weeks ago, we brought you Elephante’s newest single, “Catching On”. While being a change from the regular Phante sound, it still caught everyone’s attention and quickly became a must-add to every summer playlist. Today, Elephante and his team revealed the lyric video for the single. Created by Ajax Visuals, the video really breathes new life into the song and really allows the viewer to take in the full meaning of the track. In a world bogged-down by overbearing production and manufactured radio hits, it seems as if I’m always gasping for a breathe of fresh air. Lucky for me, and for you, today my lungs (ears) were filled with the soundings of Nashville band, Under Great Lights.
The group has been recording music for several years, and have just recently decided to take to the masses with their playful, and upbeat sound. Featuring smooth male vocals and reggae-infused guitar riffs, the quotable and lighthearted lyrics are icing on the cake. It’s crazy how much great unheard music is out there, and it’s up to us to go out and find it if we want quality music. With this said, I’m happy to introduce NYC producers Panama Wedding to FNT with their electro-pop debut single “All Of The People.” Another great track to add to your summer playlist. Although this song unfortunately missed the deadline for our epic summer playlist, it is absolutely deserving of some recognition! Known for his epic remixes, Dave Edwards takes to The Knocks and St. Lucia’s most recent single in a successful attempt to keep up his reputation.
Dave experimented with numerous different chord progressions and sounds in this track and managed to avoid any sort of monotony in the production. Add vocals in to the mix and you’ve really got yourself a hit. The remix has already gotten some pretty significant recognition and so if you enjoy it enough, be sure to heart it up on Hype Machine!
