After spending the past year playing sold-out shows with ODESZA, Jai Wolf. and Big Wild, the classically trained musician turned producer has now revealed his newest release “Stay” featuring vocalist Chelsea Cutler. The new single follows his outstanding remixes for Galantis, Louis the Child, and Hitmane, all of which skyrocketed to the top of the Hype Machine charts. With no plans on slowing down, Chet Porter’s “Stay” takes us on a journey of subtle piano chords, dreamy synth waves, and Chelsea Cutler’s soft vocals, leaving you in an ethereal state-of-mind.

House | Hermes Taps Into Mixed Emotions on His Debut EP

You may not know who Hermes is right now, but that is sure to change within the next few months. The LA-based producer / lyricist, Hermes Lopez, just released his debut Mixed Emotions EP, and we can’t stop bumping it. The five-track EP features a diverse collection of sounds and styles, starting with the lead single from the release, “Stay,” a dance-pop anthem with mainstream appeal. Other tracks like “Hearts on Fire” and “Silhouette” are energetic, big room anthems, while the last track on the EP, “Muevelo,” is a slow, reggaeton jam. Check out the full EP above.

Au5 always brings the dub. Here is some midweek bass to keep things going. Au5’s remix of “Stay” by Manufactured Superstars ft. Jarvis Church is melodic and definitely has some Au5 flavor. The drops are full of growls and the piano chords to add emotion to the powerful vocals. We can always count on Au5 to produce quality work. I’ll make this quick, because no reason. TEFlo, a Norwegian producer remixed Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” wonderfully. The tempo has been upped a tad and the addition of a bright lead takes this track to another level.
