Bass, House | Matroda Lights It Up On “Chronic”
Posted by VMan on February 29, 2016
This one goes hard as hell. Matroda is a new guy on my map, but his track “Chronic” that dropped on Spinnin’ the other day was quite an introduction. The bass fueled g-house banger has an eerie lead vocal sample that is captivating and creepy at the same time, and the bass line is as brainwashing as the music video. Check out the visuals and audio for “Chronic” by Matroda, you won’t be able to blink.

Premiering on a channel with over 11 million followers, Fox Stevenson has dropped the music video for his new vocal tune “Comeback,” the track is the first for vocal tune Spinnin Records has signed from Fox, but not the first tune altogether. Past Fox Spinnin releases include “Hoohah,” and “Tico.” Point being, this dude is making mad moves.
The music video is everything you could want in Fox track, fun, adventure, and great bass music.

Bass | Oliver Heldens Drops HI-LO Edit of 90s Classic “MHATLP”
Posted by Tay on September 8, 2015
Most producers would be happy being a superstar in one genre, but Oliver Heldens is not like most producers. At twenty years old, Heldens has championed an emerging genre in future house, started his own Heldeep Records imprint, and is now turning his attention to the rising bass house genre with his HI-LO moniker. HIs most recent output comes in the form of a HI-LO edit of the forthcoming Oliver Heldens & Da Hool remake of a 90s classic, “MHATLP,” and it’s a modern day makeover of an old school track. The glitchy melody of the original now sits atop a bed of raw, rolling breaks, gruff bass lines, and whiny synth stabs, as Heldens dons his HI-LO mask for this edit. “MHATLP” is due out on September 28th via Spinnin’ Records.
House | EDX Makes His Spinnin’ Records Return With “Belong”
Posted by Tay on August 27, 2015
It’s impossible to truly capture how impressive EDX’s career has been. Few artists in any genre have been able to stay relevant through so many dramatic changes like the Italian-born producer has been able to, which is an ode to his hard work and tireless effort. While last year was an evolutionary year for the Swiss beatmaster, this year has been one of EDX’s best. Releases like his “Indian Summer” remix of “Show Me Love” and his “Miami Sunset” remix of Spada’s “Catchfire (Sun Sun Sun)” were both chart-dominating releases, topping the Hype Machine and Beatport charts, on their way to over 30 million plays together. Now, EDX is closing out his year strong with his newest original, “Belong,” a masterful blend of deep and progressive, that marks his return to Spinnin’ Deep.
Deep House, House | Oliver Heldens & Shaun Frank Jump Into The Summer House Pool With “Shades Of Grey”
Posted by GMONEY on June 22, 2015
When I hear a new Oliver Heldens track dropped, I immediately think that a new dance floor heater is about to enter the game. His latest collab with Shaun Frank, “Shades of Grey,” will definitely be lighting up dance floor but they might be underwater at pool parties. “Shades of Grey,” not to be confused with the movie, is just one of those tracks where your riding down the Pacific Coast Highway, in a convertible, and there isn’t one care in the world around you. Check it out above, and grab it on Spinnin’ when it drops on June 21st.
