Today they give away their Electro-House remix to Milk N Cookies’ “Mastodon”, and it is nothing short of one of the most vibing dance tunes. This is definitely a feel great and dance all night sort of remix.

I can’t really say that I’ve ever heard anything like this before, so its definitely worth the share. Reminding me of Thriftworks, it gives for a cinematic, acid funk, soul motion sort of music. With so many different sounds to listen to, this track is far from boring. Catch the rest from B.R.E.E.D on the album Binate.

So many Ellie Goulding “Burn” remixes out there, but this one by Robot Dentist takes it by far! Irony of the sort, I don’t think we’ve seen the full potential of Ellie’s record “Burn,” considering she’s still running on “I Need Your Love.” Either way, Chicago local DJ/Producer Robot Dentist layers Mrs. Goulding’s vocals on a masterly orchestrated progressive production. You know, I probably should have told you guys a while ago but I might as well do it now. I AM attracted to females. You may have thought because I often call guys beautiful and good looking that I was into that sort of thing but no way! There’s nothing I enjoy more than meeting a nice girl, hanging out with her a bit, then never talking to her again. It’s times like this that I am pleased to find an excellent house remix to the song “Human Man” by Johnny Stimson, which is essentially about what every song is about these days, a guy and a girl falling in love. The Dirty Tees are the duo responsible for this great remix so, if you feel like it, go hold a girls hand or something. Make her feel special. Take her to an amusement park or mini golf or whatever, then never talk to her again. It’s the only way.

Lana Del Rey - Young and Beautiful (Fracture Design Remix)I hate to be that guy to post yet another Lana Del Rey/Gatsby remix, but if you listen you will understand why I had to post this. Fracture Design has some the most beautiful progression on this Dubstep remix. Sev and I agree that Dubstep is sort of at a stand still right now, not many producers are making anything to fall in love with. On the other hand, I did fall in love with this. Enjoy.

Freestyle, Hip-Hop, Videos | Timeflies Tuesday – Skyfall

Another Wednesday morning, another Timeflies Tuesday. No knock to the boys, they’ve been hella busy these last couple of months. But of course, they still have time to drop an awesome video every Tuesday. When I saw the first Timeflies Tuesday two summers ago, I immediately knew that it would quickly become a YouTube staple. This weeks video is one of the classics of Cal freestyling. Rez whips up a quick Skyfall beat, and puts a little pitch bend on Adele’s beautiful James Bond theme. I will never not be impressed by Cal’s ability to think on his feet and come up with sick rhymes while pulling them out of some sort of container. When I first saw the “Carry on my Wayward Son” video, I was in awe. Nothing has changed.

Chill, Hip-Hop, Rap | Jetpack Jones – Know Now ft. Chief (Prod. By Incise)

Jetpack Jones is back with a new…sort of…track. “Know Now” was originally recorded under Jetpack’s previous pseudonym, VenoM. I like his new name, and movement, for that matter, much better. This song was one of the first songs that really convinced me the Lakewood native had talent. I’m sure many of you haven’t heard this song, so I’m happy to introduce it to you. I first saw “Know Now” when it was featured on one of my favorite blogs, The Kollection, over a year ago. About 4 months after that, I became a writer for The Kollection, and the rest is history. I hope you’ve enjoyed the brief glimpse into Joseph Salzer’s blogstar past, but that’s not the point of this post.
