While De-Lor is still riding high on the recent release of his debut mixtape, J’adore, opening up for several prominent acts and recently headlining his first show in Boston, he continues to release new visuals from the project. This video gives us a look behind the scenes of Sebastian creating “Cruel”, shot and edited by Arthur Johnson. Although De-Lor has released some electro pop hits, he is no stranger to acoustic instruments and is a very talented musician as well as singer and producer. The Hit-BoyKanye West/Mike Dean/Anthony Kilhoffer produced track off Ye & Jay’s Watch The Throne album is quickly becoming the most remixed track in the game, largely due to the fact the beat is just flat out filthy. We just saw T.I. give it a go and now rnb-turned rap stars Chris Brown and T-Pain let loose on the track. Well, in reality, it’s only Breezy who works this beat and T-Pain pulls a DJ Khaled and does some high paid shit talking and chirping at the end. Breezy is still by far a better singer than he is rapper, but he’s definitely progressing with his quick delivery.

Dubstep, Mashups | Rusko & Rihanna?, 5 & A Dime – Rollin Joints

I saw this live and my first instinct on the singer was Rihanna, which Rusko later confirms in the video. I guess dubstep is going further into mainstream with Britney doing her thing and now Rihanna doing a song with Rusko. This song isn’t exceptional or at least from the clip that Rusko played, which was most likely changed quite a bit so that he didn’t get in a lot trouble with the label. There is no other information about this song then what he said at the show, or maybe he said something at the Mass show, but either way it is a song to look forward to. Here is the latest 5 & A Dime single he released today. It uses the instrumentals from the best remix of the year, Alesso’s Remix of Pressure, and Moguai’s Remix of Bangduck, with the acapellas from Rolling in the Deep, In My Head, and Walking On A Dream. The instrumentals work quite well flowing over each other and the vocals top it off for a back to school banger.

Sebastian “De-Lor” Michael is a an up and coming pop singer/songwriter/producer from Boston who’s influenced by the sounds of R&B, pop, and electro. The big homey, DJ Moneybags, sent this new track over that will be featured on his first debut mixtape dropping in the Fall. I can’t say enough about De-Lor. Not only do I love his personal style (no homo) I see shades of Ryan Leslie in him. As always, be sure to follow this promising up-and-comer on Twitter and Facebook.

Coming off of the upcoming collaboration album, “Watch The Throne.” The two heavy hitters, Mr. West and Jay-Z bring down the house on this one. The track features a sample from an American soul singer by the name of Otis Redding, hence the name of the song. Sound off in the comments, what are your thoughts on the duo?

Sometimes when you’re a blogstar, you’re usually caught up posting what’s been sent to you. You’re piled high and deep with so many e-mails it makes it virtually impossible to have the time to actually seek out new music. However, when I was browsing facebook “deleting and un-tagging” all these wanna-be rappers who usually post their videos on my wall, I came across a video in my mini-feed that blew me away.
Sebastian “De-Lor” Michael is a an up and coming singer/songwriter/producer from Boston who’s influenced by the sounds of R&B, pop, and electro. Although his Facebook and Twitter leave many questions about his story unanswered, De-Lor is an artist that you should keep your eye on. Leave it to FreshNewTracks to find the undiscovered talent.
