News | G4G Initiative Is Emazing Lights’ Best Move Yet
Posted by VMan on December 20, 2015
There are few times where a story goes beyond the music / product / festival, and it is those times I am happy to share most about.
Emazing Lights, known around the word for their foundation of the gloving movement, their Shark Tank appearance, and sister clothing company iHeartRaves, has got the internet buzzing about one fan’s life that’s been changed forever from gloving. His name is Matthew.
Matthew deals with cerebral palsy and a paraplegic disability. He is only 17. Like any American with a disability at school, students and life in general isn’t always kind to people in Matthew position; but it was one action from a single individual that changed his life.
After seeing Matthew casually practicing arm and finger whips and dance motions, his brother suggested that he get into gloving.
One glove set and a handful of practice sessions later, Matthew was deep into a new hobby that not only brought a new form joy and happiness into his life, but also improved cognitive abilities once hindered by his disorders.
Shocked, Matthew’s parents contacted Emazing Lights to tell them how there son’s finger dexterity and arm mobility improved. This connection between EL and Matthews family inspired a series of actions which will now have an impact that reaches far beyond the two groups.
After meeting the CEO and learning about the new, but unanticipated medical benefits of Gloving, Emazing Lights has started a charity initiative entitled “Glove 4 Glove” which boast a massive, but noble undertaking: for every glove set sold, Emazing Lights will donate one glove set to someone in need.
If that’s not an inspiring story, I don’t know what is. Emazing Lights has set a standard that other EDM accessory companies should strive for.
The Glove 4 Glove initiative is well underway. To learn about G4G or how Matthew’s life has changed, follow the links below.

Hailing from The University of Western Ontario, the only Canadian University recognized by Playboy Magazine as a Top 10 party school, Spencer Baird has become synonymous with unpredictability as his mashups have been recognized for their creativity and balance between what’s popular and what’s on the rise. He’s transferred these characteristics to this brilliant remix. I bring you Baird’s remix to social media shit-starting legend Deadmau5 and the self-proclaimed king of hipsters Dillon Francis’ ‘Some Chords’. Girl Fire | Galantis – Runaway (U & I)
Posted by BIGLIFE on October 1, 2014
With an “EDM” landscape full of similar sound acts, Galantis is a welcome breathe of fresh air. Despite their branded over-night success, they’re anything but, crafting hits well before “EDM” was a thing and you were still in high school dating cheerleaders. Last night, Galantis premiered their “Runaway (U & I) single on #BetaBPM (to much fanfare) set to release October 5th. The offering serves as the first single to their forthcoming album with no release date at the moment. Release date or not, Galantis is the next big thing in the electronic dance music space. Grab Galantis’s self-titled EP here. Seafox out.

Electronic | Grant Bowtie – Cloud Nine

Grant Bowtie dropped this joyful single out on Monstercat today called “Cloud Nine”. This electronic track has a full sound with a mix of high and low melodies. The bass compliments the higher synths and overall the track sounds nostalgic and fun. Grant Bowtie is from San Diego, and still just in high school. It’s amazing how talented he is for his age, and just in general! He says he’s still searching for his own sound… let’s hope he goes with this one!

Trap | Lana Del Rey – Ultraviolence (Y//2//K Remix)

I’m going to be perfectly honest, I have not listened to any of Lana Del Rey’s latest singles, I’m just not into her, but a few remixes have presented themselves to me, and this one in particular by Y//2//K trillifies the CT boarding school taught diva’s latest release “Utraviolence,” as if her and her producer downed a whole bottle of lean before recording it. I guess a little chop and screw can make anyone sound like a G, even Lana. For real though, this remix bangs so sit back and enjoy! This is a must listen and a must download!

Trap | Pusher – Feel U

Pusher’s “Feel U” track is fresh, no doubt about it! A trustworthy music tastemaker put me on to this dope track just the other day, which incorporates glitch, trap, 90’s R&B, and old school video game sounds to create a retro funky nostalgic energy, and I’ve been intrigued ever since! Let your ears figure this one out, and keep an ear out for that Britney Spears sample “hit me baby one more time” buried in the beat (it’s there). If you’re looking for something refreshing, this one’s for you! This is a must listen and a must download!
